Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A base you could sand, not a shell.
Most wood-look lamps are a hollow shell — resin cast in a grain pattern, or veneer wrapped around a tube, light enough to knock over with a sleeve. This one is carved from solid teak, heavy enough to hold its ground, with a wiring channel bored through real wood. Lift it once and the difference settles the question.
Solid matters on a small piece the way it does on a table: the surface can be renewed. Years from now, in the living room, a light sanding and a wipe of oil bring the base back to the day it arrived — a repair no cast shell or veneer wrap survives.

The oils
Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
The weight
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
The years ahead
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
From plank to piece.

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Mill
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.
Shape
Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Finish
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Questions customers usually ask
How are the lamps made and wired?
Each lamp base in this collection is turned or shaped from solid wood, wired with UL-listed components for US outlets, and finished by hand so the grain carries the light.
Can I adjust the height or shade?
Base height and shade pairing can be adjusted when you order — a taller build for a console, a compact one for a nightstand. Ask and we will match proportions to the spot.
What bulb does it take?
Lamps arrive fully assembled with a standard E26 socket; you add the bulb — we recommend a warm LED around 2700K. Shade fitting, where included, slips on without tools.
Any care advice?
Dust the base with a dry cloth and keep the cord untwisted at the outlet. The wood needs nothing more than an occasional wipe of oil to stay rich.
How do lamps ship?
Every lamp is made to order and packed in a foam-fitted box with the shade boxed separately when included. Tracking is sent to you the day it ships out.
What bulb does it take, and will the heat dry out the wood?
A standard US E26 socket, wired for 110-120V. Use a warm dimmable LED — 2700K, 60W-equivalent or lower — which runs cool enough to leave the finish alone. The wood itself was kiln-dried for twenty days before carving, so it has already done its moving; a bulb's warmth will not open a check.
How do I care for the base?
Dust with a dry cloth and unplug before wiping near the socket. Keep it out of all-day direct sun so the tone deepens evenly — teak indoors warms toward amber rather than fading. Once or twice a year, when the surface looks thirsty, rub in a thin coat of oil; ten minutes covers it.
