Natural grain. Finished by hand.

The form of this media console is shaped by natural grain, then its visible wood surfaces are refined and finished by hand.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Media console

One bent line calms the loudest wall

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

One bent line of teak, wrapped around everything you watch.

The frame wraps end to end like a ribbon pulled taut, drawers raised inside it so they seem to float. It is solid teak through the wrap and the drawer boxes — no particleboard shelf to sag under a receiver by year three. Artisans match each board by tone, true the bend, and hand-oil every face the light will find.

The media wall is the messiest real estate in an American house: router, power strip, soundbar, a black tangle behind everything. This console swallows all of it behind one warm horizontal — cables routed, remotes drawered, airflow kept. When the screen goes dark, what remains is the best-built thing in the room, and you chose it.

  • Solid top carries a 65-inch screen without flex or sag
  • Floating drawers end the where-is-the-remote search
  • Open shelf gives the soundbar and console real airflow
  • Wrapped frame hides the cable tangle from seated eyes
  • Holds the wall as sculpture when the screen is off

It fits real homes.

Friday movie night

Friday movie night

Lights down, popcorn on the long top between the candles. The router and every cable live behind the wrapped frame, the remotes have a drawer, and the only thing glowing in the room is the screen.

Crate day

Crate day

The front hall smells like a woodshop the moment the crate opens. Two adults take the weight and grin at it; a palm flat on the top finds no flex, and the grain runs deeper than the photos that sold it.

6:50, cartoons

6:50, cartoons

Saturday, 6:50 a.m. Two kids cross-legged on the rug, cereal within reach, volume too loud. The morning is chaos; the wall behind it — one bent line of oiled teak, no visible cable — stays quiet.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight grain travels the full run of the wrapped frame, and where the ribbon bends, lamplight slides along it instead of glaring — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and drawer fronts, so a sweating game-day glass wipes away clean and the wood stays warm under the hand, never plastic-slick.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, the long top carries a television without a hint of sag — and with shrinkage near half of oak's, it stays flat through every furnace season.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the frame deepens slowly toward honey-amber — greying needs outdoor sun and rain it will never see. If a bright window lightens one face over the years, a light sanding and fresh oil even the tone again.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards spend three slow weeks drying in a controlled kiln, then are pulled one at a time and matched by tone across frame and drawer fronts, so the ribbon reads as a single line.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The bent profile is traced from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that trues the wrap.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

The curved ends and drawer edges are sanded through five grits until every transition feels continuous under an open palm.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker cycles every drawer a dozen times, checks level and finish, and crates the console himself.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
Yes — solid wood with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits. There is no particleboard shelf to sag under a receiver in year three, because there is no particleboard anywhere in the piece.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size and what lives beneath it — soundbar height and router depth included.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with drawers fitted and shelves set. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top; oiled teak wipes clean of game-night rings without ghosting. A ten-minute oiling once or twice a year keeps top and drawer fronts even.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Freight-crated, interior braced, drawers locked for transit, and scheduled with you in advance. Photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note anything on the receipt — if it arrives damaged, we make it right.
What goes where on this design?
The raised drawers take remotes, controllers, and discs; the open shelf beneath suits a soundbar, console, or receiver that needs airflow. Cables route behind the wrapped frame so the front stays one clean line.
