Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers let the tree set the rules: no rigid edges, curves that follow the wood's own movement, grain left visible everywhere a hand or shin will meet it. The makers select each teak timber, shape those organic lines by hand, then sand and oil every face — solid teak throughout, bolted wood to wood, with no hidden particleboard rail to crack under years of weight.
A bed is the piece you touch every day, and the one most often bought cheap and replaced twice — a flat-pack frame squeaking by year two, a $600 mistake repeated. This is the other decision: dense teak and joints that tighten with a wrench instead of wearing out. Overnight guests stop at the doorway; you get the quieter reward of a frame still silent when the kids who jumped on it have kids.
Saturday, 7 am, nobody fully awake before the kids and the sixty-pound dog land on the mattress at once. The teak frame takes the weekly stampede without a creak or a shift — the joinery was chosen for exactly this house.
Backs against the headboard's curve, two small heads on shoulders, one lamp on at 8:30. The nightly negotiation for another chapter happens right here, and the frame holds four people leaning without a sound, for years.
Someone turns over in the January dark and the house stays quiet — no squeak, no wobble to wake to. Dense teak and tightened joints make silence a feature you notice only by its absence in every other bed.

Tight, straight, even grain runs along the rails and up the headboard's curves — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name, warm under a bare shoulder on a cold morning.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the headboard and rails, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin — no lacquer smell to headache a bedroom, nothing to off-gas, it arrives smelling like wood.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half of oak's, the frame stays flat, tight, and quiet through a winter of forced-air heat that opens the seams of lesser beds.
Indoors, teak will not go silver — it mellows toward a deeper, quieter tone over the years. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the headboard's gold back where hands and shoulders wear it, anytime.
Teak timbers are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks, matched across headboard and rails, then kiln-dried twenty days — moisture and any insect eggs gone before the first cut, so the frame holds its shape at home. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.
The organic curves are cut slightly proud of their lines, leaving material for the handwork that softens every edge a sleeper will meet.
Rails, curves, and headboard are sanded through successive grits until no edge in reach of a bare foot feels sharp.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks joints, level, and slat fit before the bed leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
