These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
One slab of teak, balanced into an entryway anchor.
The designers weighed this console against the narrow spaces it serves — slim enough for a hallway, long enough to matter. The top is one slab of solid teak, live edge intact, kiln-dried until the moisture meter says done, then hand-shaped and dressed in layered wax and oil. There is no veneer skin to chip, because there is no skin at all.
An entry table takes more abuse than any polite surface in the house — keys tossed from a distance, mail slapped down, a dropped bag clipping the corner. Solid wood absorbs that decade and spot-sands back whenever you choose. It is the first thing the front door reveals, and it sets the tone for every room behind it.

Drawing the line
In a wall-less loft, the console lands behind the sofa and the room finally has a line: living ends here. They taped the outline on the floor before ordering, and it fits like it was drawn on.
December duty
From the twelfth through New Year's, the console works as the bar — bottles, the good glasses, a lamp turned low. Condensation rings wipe off the waxed top before the coats are even found.

Grain from the tree
No two boards match: the tight, even grain and warm honey-to-amber tones are drawn from the teak itself, not printed on film — and the afternoon sun through the front door lights them differently every season.
Finished by hand
The top and live edge are hand-sanded and dressed in natural wax and oil, never plastic film — wood that feels warm to a bare hand even in a drafty hallway.
Kiln-dried and joined
The slab dries slowly in a temperature-controlled kiln until its moving is done, then joins the base wood to wood — standing square through winters of front-door drafts and furnace heat.
Built to be inherited
Solid teak earns a genuine patina from a decade of keys and gloves, and sands back fresh whenever you choose — an entry table with more than one house in its future.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Teak slabs are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years of practice, judged for figure and a clean live edge. Twisted or checked stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The top is traced and cut slightly proud of the line, the live edge preserved for the handwork that follows.
The hand refinement
Top and raw edge are sanded through five successive grits until the front corner feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Wax and oil go on in thin layers, buffed between each. The maker checks stance and level on a flat floor before the console ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

What are the console tables made from?
Each console in this collection is cut from solid teak — often a single continuous slab for the top — then hand-finished so the grain, figure, and natural edges remain part of the piece. No veneer, no particleboard core, which is why the top can be sanded back for decades.
Do you build to fit narrow hallways?
Consoles are made to order, so length and depth adjust to your hallway or entry. A narrow ten-inch depth for tight halls is one of our most common builds — tape the footprint on your floor first and send us the numbers.
Will I need to assemble it?
Most consoles arrive assembled — a finished table off the truck. Designs with sculptural bases ship in two parts that join with pre-fitted bolts, a ten-minute job for one person with the included key.
What care does a console need?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe water from vases and umbrellas promptly. An annual waxing and oiling — twenty minutes, done at home — keeps the top ready for the keys and mail it greets daily, and any deep mark spot-sands out.
How is a console packed?
Every console is made to order and packed in a fitted crate or double-walled carton with rigid corner guards. Tracking is emailed the day it ships; if the packaging looks rough on arrival, photograph it before opening and we make damage right.
What wood is this console made of, and how is it finished?
The top is solid teak, a dense tropical hardwood rich in natural oils, with the tight, quiet grain teak is known for, finished in layers of natural wax and oil. Our plantation-grown boards are chosen by selectors with thirty years at the stacks and kiln-dried twenty days at controlled heat, so the slab has finished moving and will not warp indoors. The live edge is left as the tree grew it, so each table's silhouette is its own.
