Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The hallway stops being a corridor and becomes a place.
The body is a solid teak branch kept close to the shape the tree grew — every curve and knuckle its own, sanded smooth without being straightened. The artisan selects each branch for line and soundness, fits it flat to the wall, wires it, and rubs oil in by hand until the grain stands up.
Hallways get the leftover light — one cold ceiling fixture and nothing at eye level. Mounted here, the branch washes the wall in low, warm light and takes zero floor space from a narrow passage. The wood spent twenty days drying in a controlled kiln, so it hangs true through every heating season — and the walk to the kitchen stops being a corridor.

Grain that reads quiet
Tight, even teak grain follows the branch's own line along the wall, and in the low evening glow the figure stays calm — the grown silhouette carries the piece.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more along every curve and knuckle, and under the bulb the branch holds a warm satin a passing hand wants to follow.
Density you can feel
Teak is dense enough that even a branch-sized piece lands in the hand with surprising heft — and with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, it hangs true from furnace-dry January to open-window August.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors and lightly oiled, the branch holds its gold for decades — silvering needs outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the warmth back anytime.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Branches are chosen one at a time for line, soundness, and character — judgment built over thirty years of reading wood. Cracked or lifeless stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The branch is trimmed and fitted to sit flat against the wall, drilled for a concealed cord channel, keeping the grown curves intact.
The hand refinement
Every surface is sanded by hand through five grits — smooth to a passing hand in the hallway, natural to the eye.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker tests the wiring, checks the mounting points against the wall plate, and signs the lamp out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
How does it mount to a hallway wall?
It fits flat to the wall with the bracket and hardware included, and a concealed cord channel keeps the wire tidy behind the branch. Anchor into a stud where the passage allows; the supplied anchors carry the rest on drywall or plaster.
Is it hardwired or plug-in?
The listing states which, confirmed before it ships, and it comes wired to US standards. A plug is not attached: for a plug-in run you fit one to match the outlet, and for a fully concealed install a licensed electrician wires it into a wall box.
What bulb does it take?
It arrives fully wired with the bulb included — a warm, low glow suited to a hallway rather than a work light. The LED runs cool, so the fitting stays gentle on the wood right around the socket.
Can the proportions be matched to my hallway?
Proportions adjust when you order — a longer branch for a stair wall, a compact one above an entry bench. Send the wall's measurements and we match the piece to the passage before shaping begins.
Will the wood dry out or warp near the bulb?
No. Each branch is chosen by selectors with thirty years reading wood, then kiln-dried for twenty days at a controlled temperature, so it has finished moving before it is wired. A hallway keeps it clear of vents and sun, and with a cool LED behind it the branch hangs true through every heating season.
How does it ship?
Every fixture is made to order and packed in a foam-fitted box with the hardware bagged inside and the wiring secured. It arrives ready to mount; tracking is sent the day it ships, and if the box arrives crushed, photograph it and tell us — we make it right.
