These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A single block of teak, carved until it moves.
The form began as sketches of flame, redrawn until the twist balanced from every angle of a room. Then one dense teak block — pulled at the stacks by selectors with thirty years of practice, kiln-dried for twenty days — went under the gouges and rasps. The figure you receive will not match the photos, because no two blocks carve alike.
Most living-room decor arrives by the pallet and reads that way. This does the opposite: set on a sideboard, it gives the wall behind it a reason to stay bare, and it weighs enough that lifting it settles any question of what it is. Ten years on, it is still the first thing the room says about you.

Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight grain follows every carved face from base to tip, and under raking window light the figure shifts as you circle it — the calm consistency that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own oils and silica. We hand-rub more into every curve and hollow until the surface comes up warm satin — faintly sweet and leathery to the nose on arrival, never like plastic.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with twenty days of controlled kiln drying behind it, the block has finished its moving — it stands planted through furnace winters and humid Augusts alike.
Golden now, silver whenever
Kept indoors, teak deepens toward honey-amber rather than silvering — the grey needs outdoor sun and rain. If you ever want the fresh-cut gold back on any face, a light sanding and oil restore it.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
One dense teak block is chosen at the lumber stacks by selectors with thirty years of practice. Stock with twist, checks, or dull grain never becomes a sculpture.
The shaping process
The flame form is roughed out with gouges slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that gives each curve its profile.
The hand refinement
Every face and hollow is sanded through five grits, coarse to fine, until the curves run smooth against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks balance on a level bench, then base and finish, before it leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

What are the sculptures carved from?
A single block of solid, plantation-grown teak — legally sourced, since Burmese teak has been US-sanctioned since 2021 — kiln-dried for twenty days before carving, then hand-sanded and oiled. No joints, no filler, no veneer; color and figure vary block to block.
Can I request a specific size or form?
Yes. Every sculpture is carved to order, so a form can be scaled up for floor placement or down for a mantel or console. Send the measurements of the surface you have in mind and we confirm proportions before the block is cut.
Does it need mounting or a base?
No mounting required. Each piece is shaped and weighted to stand on its own, with a flattened, felt-padded base that protects shelves and tabletops. Choose a spot away from busy walkways for taller forms.
How do I keep the finish looking right?
Dust with a soft dry cloth and keep it out of hard afternoon sun so the tone deepens evenly. Once or twice a year, when the surface looks thirsty, wipe on a thin coat of furniture oil — ten minutes, done, no refinisher involved.
How is a sculpture packed for shipping?
Every sculpture is made to order, wrapped, and packed in a fitted, padded carton — larger forms are crated. Photograph the box before the driver leaves if anything looks crushed; if the piece arrives damaged, we make it right. Tracking is emailed at dispatch.
Where does a piece this scale work best?
This is a large-format form, at home on a generous sideboard, a console, or a wide display shelf. Because each one is carved to order, tell us the surface you have in mind and we will confirm proportions before carving begins.
