Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece

Because it is made to order, the floating desk mounts at your height — sitting, standing, or somewhere between — in the home office you actually have: the hallway nook, the bedroom corner, the six feet behind the sofa. The chair tucks fully under, the vacuum runs straight through, and the room keeps its first job.
Tuesday, 8:58 a.m., the meeting link already open. Behind the laptop: clean wall, warm grain, nothing to apologize for on camera. A coworker asks about the wood before the agenda starts — the desk is the backdrop, and the backdrop is winning.
Ten past four, backpack dropped at the door, long division spread across the oiled top. A kid who negotiates every minute at the kitchen table sits here without argument — a real desk, their name on the homework, the wall to themselves.
The second week of April, the folder migration begins. W-2s, receipts, the one 1099 that always hides. For six evenings the desk holds the whole season in two neat piles, and the dining table never hears about it.

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.
Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
