These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A chair shaped like sculpture, built for sitting.
The frame moves in one continuous line — arms, seat, and legs carved with open cutouts that let light pass straight through. Our designers worked the proportions until it sat as well as it stood. Every board is solid teak, not a veneer wrapped over a hollow curve, shaped and oiled by hand to a warm satin.
An accent chair usually means a pretty frame that racks loose by its second winter. This one is joined at the stress points and built from boards a selector pulled and dried for twenty days, so the seat stays tight when forced-air heat drops the room to fifteen percent humidity in January. Set it by a window and it holds the corner alone — the piece a guest crosses the room to touch.

Three in the morning
The only light comes off the streetlamp. The carved frame holds the whole feed without a creak, and the teak arm stays warm under a forearm the way metal and molded plastic never do. The silence is the feature.
The overflow seat

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the carved arms and legs — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. Under a low lamp the oil gives a soft, even sheen, not a glassy shine.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the seat and arms, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin. It arrives smelling faintly of wood and workshop, with nothing to off-gas in a closed room.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage among the lowest of any hardwood — about half that of oak — the frame stays tight even when a dry January drops indoor humidity into the teens.
Golden now, silver whenever
Left outdoors, teak weathers to a paper-thin silver-grey. Indoors it does the reverse and deepens toward honey; a light sanding and fresh oil bring the chair's gold back whenever you want it.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards for the frame are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks, matched by tone and grain, then kiln-dried twenty days. Stock with twist or checks never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The chair's curves and cutouts are traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork ahead.
The hand refinement
Arms, seat, and every open edge are sanded by hand through five grits until each curve feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks every joint and the chair's stance before it leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
- Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
- Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.
Delivery, done properly.
White-glove option
Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.
Crated for freight
Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.
Scheduled window
You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.
Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
How are the chairs built to last?
Solid teak throughout, with mortise-and-tenon joinery at the seat-to-leg and back-to-seat joints — the two that decide whether a chair lasts five years or fifty. There is no cam lock or hanger bolt to work loose.
Can seat height or finish be customized?
Seat height and finish tone can be tailored when you order. If your table runs tall or low, tell us its height and we will match the chairs to a comfortable clearance.
Do the chairs require assembly?
Chairs ship fully assembled. Joints are glued, clamped, and cured at the workshop, so it comes off the truck as a finished chair — nothing to bolt together, no wobble born at a loose fitting.
What upkeep does a wooden chair need?
Dust it, wipe with mild soap and warm water, and re-oil the arms and seat edges once a year where hands rest most. The oil finish spot-repairs at home; a film finish would need a full refinish.
How are chairs and sets shipped?
Each chair is made to order, blanket-wrapped at every edge, and double-boxed. Photograph the carton before the driver leaves and note any crush on the receipt; if it arrives damaged we make it right.
Is a cushion included with this chair?
No — the cushion shown in photos is not included. The seat is sized for standard accent-chair cushions, so you can pair it with a fabric that plays well with what you already own.
