Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

No one carved these lines — the tree grew them. The makers select naturally formed teak roots one by one, then a designer arranges the intertwined forms until the composition holds together from across the room. Every surface is cleaned, hand-sanded, and oiled so the wood's own history shows — solid root, not a molded resin cast painted to look like wood.
On a living room or stairwell wall it does what a framed print cannot: it casts real shadows that travel with the daylight, changing hour by hour. No two compositions repeat, so the piece on your wall exists nowhere else — guests step in close to trace one root to its end, and the house reads, unmistakably, as yours.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Along each root, tight teak grain follows the twist of the form — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name, holding its shape on the wall through decades of American HVAC.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into every curve and knot, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that catches lamplight in the evening and never reads like a plastic coating.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half of oak's, the root forms hold their shape and stay true on the wall for decades, unmoved by a winter of dry forced-air heat.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors, teak will not silver — that needs outdoor sun and rain; it simply mellows gracefully over the years. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the golden tone back anytime, and a wall out of hard afternoon sun keeps the color even.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Naturally formed roots are chosen one at a time for movement and soundness, then kiln-dried so the wood is stable and any insect is gone before finishing. Broken or lifeless forms never make the piece.
The shaping process
The roots are composed and trimmed only where needed, keeping the tree's own lines as the design.
The hand refinement
Every reachable surface is sanded by hand through successive grits until curves feel right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Finish goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks mounting points and surface before the sculpture ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.

- Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.
Crated for freight
Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

What is the wall art made from?

Can a piece be scaled to my wall?
Yes — dimensions scale to your wall since each piece is made to order. Send a photo of the space with rough measurements and we suggest proportions before building.
How does it hang?
Hanging hardware is fitted at the workshop — keyhole slots or French cleats chosen by weight — with matching anchors in the box. Most pieces hang on two screws into studs or drywall anchors.
Does wooden wall art need maintenance?
Dust with a soft dry brush or cloth, and keep it off a wall with hard afternoon sun so the tones deepen evenly rather than lightening on one side. Nothing else is required year to year.
How does wall art ship?
Each piece is made to order and ships flat in a rigid, foam-lined carton with the hardware taped inside. Tracking is emailed once the carton ships; open and inspect it before signing for any visible crush.
