Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · TV stand

The console under everything you watch.

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A TV stand with wave-carved doors and an ordered life inside.

Wave-carved cabinet fronts ripple below a clean open shelf, the texture doing quietly what a screen does loudly. Our designers set the proportions around real televisions and real components; the artisan carves the door faces from solid teak, fits each to close with an even gap, and vents the compartments where a receiver actually breathes.

The media wall is the messiest spot in the house — a snarl of cords and a black stack of boxes under the screen. This console hides the routers and remotes behind carved doors and holds the television on a solid teak top that will not dip the way a particleboard shelf does under a receiver by year three. The one thing on that wall worth touching is the piece beneath the TV.

  • Media boxes overheating? The open shelf keeps them ventilated and reachable
  • Carved cabinets swallow remotes, cables, and games out of sight
  • Top sized for a flat screen plus a lamp
  • Rear openings route cords out of view
  • Low profile keeps the screen at seated eye level

It fits real homes.

Game-night surface

Game-night surface

Playoffs on, and the open shelf holds the popcorn bowls while controllers charge behind the carved doors. A sweating bottle leaves a ring on the oiled top that wipes off at halftime, and cleanup is two doors clicking shut.

The five-minute reset

The five-minute reset

Company due at six. Remotes, chargers, and one stray puzzle sweep into the cabinets, doors close over the carved waves, and the living room is presentable by 5:55 with the wall looking like nobody lives that hard.

Cartoon mornings

Cartoon mornings

Saturday, early. Small feet pad out, one carved door opens for the console, and the low shelf keeps everything within reach of a seven-year-old running the show while the house still sleeps.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight, even grain runs across the top and through the wave-carved door fronts — the calm figure that keeps the texture from turning busy, and stays cool and smooth under a palm that swings a door shut a dozen times a day.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the carved doors and top, deepening the golden tone where lamplight lands each evening — a hand-buffed satin, never a sprayed gloss, with no chemical smell around the screen.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the top carries a television flat and true through the dry pull of forced-air heat and the swing back to a humid summer.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the console deepens toward honey-amber rather than graying; silvering needs outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the top and doors back to first gold whenever a ring outstays its welcome.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks, matched by tone across top, doors, and sides, then dried twenty days in a controlled kiln. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The wave pattern is traced across the door faces, then carved slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that evens the ripple.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Carved fronts and edges are sanded by hand through successive grits until the waves feel smooth under a passing palm.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker hangs the doors, checks the gaps, and levels the case before sign-out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
Solid teak with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits — no particleboard shelf sagging under a receiver in year three. The top holds a television flat for the life of the room, not a warranty window.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size and what lives beneath it, and tape the footprint on the floor before you order.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with doors hung and shelves set — it comes off the truck as a finished console. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV.
How do I care for it?
Dust vents and cable openings when you dust the top, and keep drinks on coasters during game nights. A yearly oiling keeps the top and doors even; a water ring lifts with a cloth and a warm dry iron in half a minute.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every cabinet is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit, because we have thought about the truck. Photograph the crate before the driver leaves; tracking is provided and delivery is scheduled in advance.
What fits behind the wave-carved doors?
The lower cabinets are full-depth storage — game consoles, controller chargers, board games, and cable clutter all disappear behind them, while the open shelf above keeps receivers and streaming boxes ventilated and in remote range.
