These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Our designers drew the outline around a seated reach; the maker bandsaws it proud of the line, then fairs the curve by hand until the sweep reads as one motion.
Most home offices are furnished with whatever survived the last apartment. This is the correction — a workday's weight of teak, kiln-dried twenty days so the top stays flat through furnace season. The oil finish asks for one fresh coat a year; in exchange a coffee ring wipes off instead of ghosting in. Eight hours a day at a surface you chose on purpose changes how the room feels at eight a.m.

Tight, straight grain runs the full sweep of the curve, and under a desk lamp the oiled figure shows a low satin sheen, not gloss — it never glares into a webcam.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more into the worksurface. It stays warm under your forearms through an eight-hour day — never the cold, sticky feel of a laminate top.
Density you can feel
Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with about half the seasonal movement of oak — the top holds flat when the furnace drops your indoor humidity all January.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors, teak will not go grey — in a bright window it slowly deepens toward amber instead. If it ever dulls, a light sanding and fresh oil reset the gold in an afternoon.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are pulled by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, then kiln-dried twenty days before the first cut. Twisted or dull stock never makes it.
The shaping process
The asymmetrical outline is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the pencil line — leaving material for the handwork that finishes every curve.
The hand refinement
The live edge and worksurface are sanded through five successive grits until they feel right against an open palm, not merely look right from a step away.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, joints, and finish before the desk is signed out of the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
What kind of wood are the desks built with?
Solid teak through the full thickness of the top — no particleboard, no MDF, no veneer to sand through anywhere in the build, which is why the surface can be re-sanded and re-oiled for decades. Tops are built thick enough to stay flat over a 60-inch span on hardwood legs or trestles.
Can I customize dimensions or add cable management?
Each desk is built after you order, so width, depth, and height adjust to your room and chair — useful when the office corner is an exact-inches problem. Standing-height builds and cable grommets can be added when you order.
How hard is assembly?
There is no flat-pack afternoon here. Legs or trestles bolt to pre-installed threaded inserts in the top — a fifteen-minute job for one person, and the included hex key is the only tool you will need.
How should I treat the worksurface?
Wipe with a damp cloth and re-oil once a year — a twenty-minute job, not a refinisher's visit. Use a desk pad under daily writing if you want a flawless surface, or let the marks accrue; either way a deep scratch spot-sands out at home.
How does a desk arrive?
Made to order, with the top and base packed separately in padded cartons and hardware bagged to the frame. Photograph the boxes before you break them down, note any transit damage right away, and tracking covers every carton in the shipment.
Will the curved top fit a normal office setup?
Yes. The asymmetrical shape is drawn around a standard seated position, so a monitor, laptop, and writing area all land within easy reach. Because each desk is made to order, we can adjust the overall footprint to your room.
