Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A lounge chair whose carved frame does the talking.
Circular cutouts, flowing lines, sculpted arms and legs — our designers worked the frame until it carried rhythm with no wasted member. Artisans choose each teak board for matching tone, carve the openings by hand, join them with mortise-and-tenon, and sand every transition until the frame reads as one continuous piece. Cushions are not included.
The frame is the whole argument here, so it is solid teak, not veneer over MDF that chips at the first knock. A dog's tail sweeps these legs nightly and the marks spot-sand out in ten minutes; a lacquered chair would just wear through and stay that way. Buy it once and it outlasts the cheaper chairs you would keep replacing around it.

- Tight room? Open cutouts keep the sightlines clear.
- Where do elbows go? Sculpted arms rest elbows and a mug.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the carved arms and rails — the calm figure collectors ask for by name. Trace a cutout edge and the oiled grain is satin under the fingertip, never slick.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils, so it arrives smelling faintly of wood, not chemicals — nothing to off-gas in the living room. We hand-rub more into the frame and cutout edges, deepening the gold to a warm satin.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the carved joints stay tight through the summer AC cycling that swings a room's humidity and loosens glued flat-pack frames.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors the gold holds and deepens; outdoors teak would weather to a refined silver-grey, a surface change only. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the frame's gold back anytime.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are matched by tone and grain across the whole frame, then kiln-dried twenty days so the wood is done moving. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The circular cutouts and flowing lines are traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud, leaving material for the handwork.
The hand refinement
Every cutout edge and arm is sanded through successive grits until it feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks joints, stance, and finish before the chair leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
- Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
- Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.
Crated for freight
Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.
Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
How are the chairs built to last?
Solid teak with mortise-and-tenon joinery at the seat-to-leg and back-to-seat joints — the ones that decide whether a chair lasts five years or fifty. The joints are glued, clamped, and cured, not held by a hidden cam lock that works loose in a month.
Can seat height or finish be customized?
Seat height and finish tone can be tailored when you order. If your table runs tall or low, tell us its height and we will match the chairs to a comfortable clearance.
Do the chairs require assembly?
Chairs ship fully assembled. Joints are glued, clamped, and cured at the workshop — nothing for you to bolt together, and no wobble that starts its life at a cam lock.
What upkeep does a wooden chair need?
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry. Check the floor glides stay snug, and refresh the oil on the arms and seat edges once a year where hands rest most — about twenty minutes, no refinisher needed.
How are chairs and sets shipped?
Each chair is made to order, wrapped at every edge, and double-boxed. Pairs and sets ship together where possible, and tracking is sent to you at dispatch.
Does this lounge chair come with cushions?
No — the chair ships as the carved frame alone, so you can choose cushion fabric and depth to match your room. The seat and back are shaped and finished to pair with standard lounge cushions.
