Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Handcrafted solid wood · Storage cabinet

A storage cabinet that keeps its secrets

The piece

Behind these doors, order.

A cabinet earns trust at the hinges. Doors get cycled thousands of times, so the cabinetmakers hang, swing, and adjust each pair until they close with a soft, certain sound — no slam, no rebound, no gap creeping in by spring. Hardware is set into sound, dense grain, not into a laminated edge that strips on the second tighten.

In the living room it swallows what used to live in plain sight — cords, paperwork, the game boxes. Surfaces clear, the room exhales, and when someone asks what you keep in it, the honest answer is everything, and you would never know from the outside.

  • Hides consoles, cords, and remotes behind solid doors
  • Closed storage for board games and puzzles
  • Dining-room home for serving pieces and linens
  • Entry cabinet for keys, mail, and dog leashes
  • Oiled top shrugs off sweating glasses on party nights

It fits real homes.

Calm on camera

8:58 on a Tuesday, laptop open in the home-office corner. Behind the chair the storage cabinet reads calm on camera — doors closed over the printer and the tax files — one clean focal point before the meeting starts.

Movie night, untangled

Friday movie night, lights down, doors closed under the screen. The consoles, the router, the remote nobody can ever find — all of it lives inside the storage cabinet, so the evening starts with nothing to untangle.

Game night's home base

Friday the doors open and the stack comes out: the long game, the loud one, the one missing two pieces. Every box has its shelf, and everyone knows which.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

The grain

Honey and amber bands run the length of each plank. No two boards repeat, so your piece is the only one with this pattern.

The oils

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.

The weight

Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.

The years ahead

Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.

From plank to piece.

Select

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.

Mill

Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Shape

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.

Finish

Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Should the cabinet be anchored to the wall?
In homes with children or pets, yes — a loaded cabinet is heavy enough to stay put, but climbing changes the math. Taller cabinets in this collection accept a standard anti-tip strap or L-bracket into a wall stud: a ten-minute job with a drill and a level. The solid wood back gives the screws real material to bite, which hollow-back cabinets cannot offer.
How much can the shelves hold without sagging?
Particleboard shelves bow under a row of hardcovers within a year — that is the failure this construction exists to avoid. These shelves are solid teak, kiln-dried across twenty days so they stay straight, and carry everyday loads of dishes, books, and media gear — around 30 to 40 pounds each when weight is spread evenly. Most are fixed for rigidity; select designs include adjustable pins, noted per listing.
