Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Handcrafted solid wood · Feeding stand

Dinner is served, twice a day

The piece

Made for a working kitchen corner.

Seventy-one percent of American households feed somebody with four legs, and most of the gear is plastic — kicked, cracked, chewed, replaced every year. This one is furniture: solid teak, joined wood to wood so it stays square through a decade of nose-shoves, finished with oil that wipes clean after the sloppiest drink of the night.

In the kitchen it takes what a dog gives it. Tail strikes, claw skids, the five o'clock collision with dinner — small marks blend into the patina, and anything deeper sands out at home with fine paper and a rag of oil. Nothing in this corner needs policing, least of all the dog.

  • Raises bowls toward shoulder height for medium and large dogs
  • Solid-teak mass will not skate across tile mid-meal
  • Bowls lift out in seconds for the nightly dishwasher run
  • Natural oil finish, food-safe once cured — nothing to off-gas
  • Water splashes wipe off wood proven on boat decks

It fits real homes.

The 5 p.m. stare

Ten minutes to five, and she is already seated by the feeding stand, ears up, patient as a monk. The stand holds both bowls dead level through the spin-and-scramble celebration that follows the scoop.

Breakfast before coffee

6:40 a.m., house rules enforced by whining: kibble gets scooped before coffee gets poured. The stand takes the day's first full-body nose-shove without walking an inch across the tile.

The midnight drink

Past midnight, the long sloppy lap of water carrying through the dark kitchen. The bowl stays seated in its cutout, the splash lands on oiled teak, and nobody steps in a puddle on the way to the fridge.

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

The grain

Honey and amber bands run the length of each plank. No two boards repeat, so your piece is the only one with this pattern.

The oils

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.

The weight

Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.

The years ahead

Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.

From plank to piece.

Select

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.

Mill

Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Shape

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.

Finish

Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

What height should I choose for my dog?
Measure floor to shoulder and subtract about six inches, so the bowl rim lands near chest level and the neck stays close to neutral while eating. For a puppy, size against the adult height on the breed chart, not the dog in front of you. And because every stand is made to order, if the listed height is wrong for your dog, ask before the build starts and we adjust it.
Won't daily water splashes ruin the wood?
Teak is what commercial steam rooms and boat decks are built from — its own oils and silica do the resisting, and the oil finish sheds the daily splash zone. Two habits keep it looking new: do not let water stand in the cutouts, and towel up the big spills. A ten-minute re-oil once or twice a year keeps the surface sealed, and any mark that does set in sands out at home with fine paper.
