Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Cat tree tower

Cat furniture your living room keeps

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A climbing tree the cat and the room both claim.

The designers shaped a 59-inch trunk with extended branches, spacing each platform for a real cat's leap and a real room's sightlines. An artisan then selects aged teak for its grain and stability, shapes every limb, rounds each edge by hand, and finishes it smooth.

It stands in the living room like the sculpture it is. Carpet-wrapped towers shed, snag claws, and get shoved in a closet when company comes; this one gets left out. The cat naps on the top branch, claw marks blend into the grain or sand away in ten minutes, and guests assume it holds plants until the tail moves.

  • 59-inch climb with branch platforms at leap spacing
  • Rounded, sanded edges safe for paws and toddlers
  • Branches double as display for plants or books
  • Solid teak shrugs off daily claw traffic
  • Stands as sculpture in the room's best corner

It fits real homes.

The sunbeam schedule

The sunbeam schedule

Nine a.m., the light crosses the top platform, and the cat is already there — same branch, same hour, a routine kept more faithfully than anyone else's in the house.

The double take

The double take

A guest admires the branching teak, asks if it holds plants or books — and then the cat pours down from the top limb. Best reveal in the room, every time.

The video-call cameo

The video-call cameo

Mid-meeting, the cat climbs into frame and settles on a branch behind your shoulder. Colleagues stop asking about the agenda and start asking about the tree.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, even grain follows the trunk and every branch — the calm figure that lets the tower pass for décor instead of pet gear. In the afternoon sunbeam the cat claims, the grain glows the same warm amber the room does.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own oils, and the pet-safe finish arrives smelling like wood, not solvent — nothing off-gassing where a cat sleeps twelve hours a day. Hand-rubbed to a warm satin, smooth under paws and palms alike.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter and among the lowest-shrinkage hardwoods, the trunk stands planted under a running leap from across the room — no rock, no tip, no bolts to retighten every month.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the tower never silvers — it deepens toward honey where the sun tracks across it. Claw taps that would shred carpet blend into teak's grain, and a light sanding with oil erases the deeper ones whenever you choose.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Aged teak trunks are chosen for grain and soundness. Stock with checks or dull figure never becomes a tower.

The shaping process

The shaping process

Branches and platforms are cut slightly proud of their lines — leaving material for the handwork that rounds every edge.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Every limb and platform is sanded through successive grits until edges feel right against a palm — or a paw.

The final inspection

The final inspection

The finish is applied in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker load-checks every branch before the tower ships.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

What makes these different from carpeted cat trees?
Each tower in this collection is a real branching trunk or solid-wood build, sanded smooth and finished with pet-safe oil — furniture your cat climbs, not carpet-wrapped cardboard you hide when guests come.
How stable are they for large cats?
Very. Wide, weighted bases and solid limbs keep the tower planted under a running leap from across the room. For enthusiastic climbers we include a wall strap for extra insurance.
Is there assembly involved?
Most towers arrive in two or three sections that bolt together in under twenty minutes. Platforms come pre-attached; you fasten the sections together and position the weighted base.
What about claw marks and cleaning?
Vacuum platforms and wipe the wood with a dry or barely damp cloth. Claw marks are part of the story, but a light sanding and oil erases them whenever you choose.
How do the towers ship?
Towers are made to order and packed in sectioned, padded cartons with hardware bagged inside the base. Tracking follows by email the day your order leaves the workshop.
How tall is this tower, and will it suit a big cat?
This build stands 59 inches high with a 30-inch reach across the branches — sized so a large cat can climb, turn, and stretch out flat on the upper platforms. Because each tower is made to order, we can raise the height or widen a favorite platform when you order.
Will the trunk crack or warp over the years?
It will not, and there is a reason the wood sits so still. Each teak trunk is picked by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, then given twenty days in a controlled kiln — long enough to drive the moisture out slowly, hot enough to kill any insects or eggs living in the wood. It reaches you already done moving, so it holds its shape and stays planted under a running leap, winter after winter.
