What is the wall art made from?
It is carved from solid teak panels — real relief cut into the wood, so the piece has genuine depth and shadow, not a printed pattern over board. It deepens in tone as it ages instead of fading like a laminated print.
Can a piece be scaled to my wall?
Yes — dimensions scale to your wall since each piece is made to order. Send a photo of the space with rough measurements and we will suggest proportions; tape a paper outline first to judge the presence.
How does it hang?
Hanging hardware is fitted at the workshop — keyhole slots or French cleats by weight — with matching anchors for drywall or masonry in the box. Most pieces hang on two screws, level and flush to the wall.
Does wooden wall art need maintenance?
Dust with a soft dry brush or cloth, and keep it off walls with hard afternoon sun so the tone deepens evenly. Nothing to off-gas, nothing to refinish — that is the whole routine, year to year.
How does wall art ship?
Each piece is made to order and ships flat in a rigid, foam-lined carton with the hardware taped inside and packed like it matters. Photograph the carton on arrival, and tracking is emailed once it ships.
Is it too deep for a narrow entryway?
No — the carving carries the depth visually while the piece itself hangs close to the wall, clear of shoulders and coat sleeves. Its tall, slender format is drawn specifically for entry and hallway walls where floor space is already spoken for.
