The form of this bookshelf is shaped by natural grain, then its visible wood surfaces are refined and finished by hand.
Only the wooden bookshelf is sold.
Not included: books, bottles, electronics, baskets, and displayed collections; loose mounting or installation hardware; other non-wood accessories; decorative objects and styling props.
Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Every particleboard bookcase learns the same curve — the long shelf bowing under a year of hardcovers, the smile that never straightens. These shelves are solid teak through their full thickness, no MDF core, no printed skin, dense enough to carry a packed row of hardcovers without ever learning that curve.
Load the living room wall with what you actually keep — art monographs, a running yard of vinyl, the cast-iron bookends — and the grain carries it without comment. Because the wood is solid, the surface can also be sanded and re-oiled for decades, which no veneer survives.
Eight fifty-eight on a Tuesday. The laptop opens, and the shelf behind reads calm on camera — straight spines, one plant, oiled grain catching the window light. The room looks like someone lives a considered life in it. The meeting can start.
July 31st, moving day. The particleboard bookcase stays at the curb with a FREE sign, soft at every joint after three moves. The teak one gets the moving blankets and the good spot in the truck.

Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.
Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.
Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
