Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? The piece
Each cabinet begins as teak boards chosen one at a time for grain that will carry the carving, dried twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln so the moisture is gone before the first cut. An artisan traces the wave across both doors, cuts it by hand, then sands through five grits until the ridges roll under a fingertip. The oil finish is repairable at home — a dulled patch renews where a film would flake.
Most home bars are a cart that rattles the ice when you stir, or a cabinet whose wood is a printed film one spilled Negroni lifts at the corner. This is solid teak through doors, case, and shelves — spirits and citrus wipe away, and years of pours never reach a particleboard core, because there isn't one. Close the wave doors on the evening and you own something worth the wall it takes.
Friday, nine o'clock, every screen off. A record drops on the stand, two old-fashioneds come together on the teak top, and lamplight catches the low sheen of the oiled waves. The apartment goes quiet in the way only deliberate rooms manage.
From the twelfth through the twenty-sixth this cabinet is the bar — punch bowl sweating on top, bourbon traffic through the carved doors after the third party in two weeks. The condensation rings wipe off the oiled teak, and on the twenty-sixth the host finally exhales.
A quiet half hour before the workweek begins: bottles laid on their sides so the corks stay wet, the decanter set out on the open shelf, the good rye tucked behind the closed doors where a Tuesday night cannot find it.

Tight, straight grain runs the length of the top and sides — a calm field behind the carved doors. Under a raking lamp on a winter evening, the wave crests throw soft moving shadows while the flat faces stay even and matte.
Teak carries its own oils; we hand-rub more into the doors and top until they hold a warm satin. Open the cabinet the day it lands and you catch the faint sweet, leathery scent of the wood itself — no lacquer fumes to air out for weeks.
Twenty days in the kiln before the first cut means the moisture is out and the movement is over. When forced-air heat drops the room near fifteen percent humidity in January, the case stays square and the doors keep their even gap — teak moves about half as much as oak.
Indoors the golden tone only deepens — teak will not go silver-gray without outdoor sun and rain. If a bright kitchen window ever paces one door ahead of the other, a light sanding and fresh oil bring both back level in an afternoon.
Boards are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, matched by tone across doors, sides, and top so the finished cabinet reads as one tree. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.
The wave pattern is traced across both doors, then bandsawn just proud of the line — leaving a sliver of material for the gouge work that shapes each crest by hand.
Carved ridges are sanded by hand through five successive grits, the maker reading each crest by fingertip in raking light, until the waves roll under an open palm without a single catch.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker levels the cabinet on the bench, cycles both doors, and checks the reveal with a card before signing it out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
