These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Each rack is worked from individually selected solid wood blocks — dried slowly in the kiln before shaping, so the cradles hold their fit — then hand-shaped and hand-polished so the natural tone leads. No two blocks carry the same figure, so the rack on your counter is the only one of it. The cradles are cut to hold standard bottles at the angle that keeps corks wet.
Most collections live standing up in a cabinet, corks slowly drying over a year of good intentions. This puts the bottles on their sides, in plain sight on the island, where choosing Friday's bottle becomes a small ceremony instead of a rummage. A few good bottles, resting on real wood — that is a bar, at counter scale.

The finish nature applied
The wood carries its own natural oils. Hand-polishing works more into the cradles and faces, leaving a satin that feels warm under a palm on a cold morning — never the cool, coated slick of a sprayed finish.
Density you can feel
Dense, heavy stock — dried until the moisture meter says done — gives the rack real standing weight. Loaded or empty, it plants itself on the island through steam, AC cycling, and August humidity, and holds a full row without a shiver.
Golden now, silver whenever
The warm tone deepens gently with kitchen light and years of handling — the polish where hands land most turns richest first. A fresh wipe of oil revives the whole surface anytime, in less time than dinner takes.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Blocks are chosen one at a time for grain, tone, and soundness — stock with dull figure or hidden checks never becomes a rack — then set aside until fully dry.
The shaping process
Bottle cradles are laid out and cut slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that seats each bottle at the right angle.
The hand refinement
Cradles and faces are sanded by hand through five grits until every curve a bottle or a hand meets feels finished, with no edge left sharp.
The final inspection
The surface is hand-polished and oiled in thin coats. Stability and fit are checked with full bottles racked on the bench before the piece ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

How do the holders store wine properly?
Each holder is shaped from solid hardwood blocks, cradling bottles on their sides at the gentle angle that keeps corks wet — the one storage rule that actually protects the wine. Equal parts storage and small sculpture for a counter or island.
What capacities can I order?
Capacity is made to order: from a four-bottle counter piece to wall runs holding several cases. Tell us your collection's size and where it should live — measure the counter depth first so the rack sits fully on the surface.
Does it need any installation on the island?
None. This is a freestanding design — set it on the island or countertop, load the bottles, done. The dense solid-block construction keeps it planted, and it moves anytime the kitchen rearranges. No brackets, no holes in the backsplash.
Any care advice?
Dust between bottles occasionally and wipe drips from opened bottles before they set. An annual wipe of oil keeps the cradles rich where the glass rests — and because the finish is oil, not film, any ring or scuff spot-sands out at home in minutes.
