Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? The stock is kiln-dried and the rack is joined wood to wood, so the cradles hold their angle under a full case of bottles, with no glued-veneer joint to creep loose over the years.

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

Teak boards are pulled one at a time for straight, even grain worth displaying, then kiln-dried before shaping. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

Cradles are traced from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that sets each curve.

The hand refinement

Each cradle and edge is sanded through successive grits until the wood feels right where a bottle neck will rest.

The final inspection

The finish goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks cradle angles, level, and surface before the rack ships.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
