Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Makeup vanity

Where the morning gets a room.

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A vanity that treats your routine as something worth a ritual.

Built from solid teak, the vanity layers open shelving into a small personal gallery — and because no two teak boards carry the same figure, each build shows honey-to-amber grain no catalog photo can promise. Our designers spaced the tiers around real routines; the artisan flattens, shapes, and oils every board by hand.

If the current system is a zipped bag and a bathroom counter shared with everyone's toothpaste, this is the correction. Every bottle gets a visible home at arm's height, the stock is kiln-dried a full twenty days so the shelving stays level under years of jars — and the ten minutes in front of it stop feeling like a chore and start feeling like yours.

  • Open tiers keep every product visible and one reach away
  • Holds perfume, candles, and jewelry as display
  • Oiled top stands up to powders and spills
  • Moves the routine off the shared bathroom counter
  • Teak grain makes each build one of a kind

It fits real homes.

The 6:15 start

The 6:15 start

Tuesday, 6:15 a.m., twenty quiet minutes before the commute: coffee on the top tier, skincare in its row, everything found by reach instead of by digging. The house is still dark and the corner is already working.

Wedding morning

Wedding morning

Two of you at one mirror before the ceremony — one seated, one leaning in — lipsticks and earrings staged across the tiers like a backstage counter. The photos start here.

The 10 p.m. reset

The 10 p.m. reset

Makeup off, hair down, each bottle returned to its level while the day unwinds. The vanity ends the evening exactly as ordered as it began — which is the whole point of it.

Teak, up close.

Grain from the tree

No two boards match, so the tiers and top carry their own rings, figure, and color — tilt your head in morning light and the teak shows its honey-to-amber depth in the grain.

Grain from the tree

Finished by hand

Every shelf face and edge is hand-sanded and oiled rather than wrapped in film — the wood feels like wood under your fingertips each morning, and a nail-polish mishap sands out at home.

Finished by hand

Kiln-dried and joined

Twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln draws the moisture out slowly, so the tiers stay tight and dead level through every change of season.

Kiln-dried and joined

Built to be inherited

Solid wood sands and refinishes again and again, so year thirty is a weekend project, not a replacement — and the soft sheen where your wrist rests becomes the record of every morning.

Built to be inherited

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Teak boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone and grain across the tiers — judged by selectors with thirty years of reading wood. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

Shelves and frame are traced from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that trues each level.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Shelf edges and the worksurface are sanded by hand through five grits until they feel right under a resting wrist.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker sets a level on every shelf and loads a test row of bottles before the vanity is signed out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

What makes the vanity top hold up to daily products?
The worksurface is solid teak, smooth and knot-free, its own natural oils standing up to daily powders and the occasional spilled bottle of remover. The boards are chosen by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, then kiln-dried twenty days at controlled heat, so the top stays flat and the tiers stay level rather than shrinking, warping, or cracking when winter heat dries the bedroom. Because the finish is oil rather than a film, a worn patch renews with a wipe of oil instead of a refinisher's bill.
What can be customized?
Vanities are built to order — width, height, drawer count, and mirror options all adjust. A 36-inch build with one drawer suits most bedrooms; corner builds are available too. Measure the wall and tell us what your routine actually holds.
How much assembly is there?
The table arrives assembled; the mirror, where included, bolts to the back rail with two fittings in about ten minutes. All hardware and the key ship inside the drawer — nothing to hunt for, nothing left over.
How should I clean the surface?
Wipe up cosmetics and alcohol-based products promptly — they are harder on a finish than water. A soft damp cloth daily and fresh oil twice a year keeps the top ready for the next decade of mornings.
How is a vanity delivered?
Made to order and packed with the mirror and table cradled separately, vanities ship with full tracking. Larger builds travel freight with a scheduled window — photograph the packaging on arrival and note anything on the receipt, and we make any damage right.
What goes where on the tiered shelving?
Most owners keep daily skincare and brushes on the lowest, closest tier, fragrance and decor up top, and backups or candles between. The levels are open by design, so the layout can change with your routine — nothing is locked behind a door.
