Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The wall piece that treats wine as something earned.

Each holder is shaped from solid teak blocks, chosen by selectors with thirty years at the stacks and kiln-dried for twenty days until the moisture meter says done — so the wood has finished moving before a cradle is cut. The maker reads the tight, even grain, so the warm golden figure lands where the eye falls, and the surface is hand-polished rather than sprayed, keeping the open grain of real wood, not a film.

Wine in most kitchens lives badly — upright beside the toaster, cooking slowly near the oven, or buried in a cabinet. This piece hangs the bottles on the wall at the proper resting angle, corks kept wet, away from the heat, three or four labels turned into the room's quiet decoration. The host reaches up instead of digging, and the reach feels earned.

The finish nature applied

The wood carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more into the cradles and face until the surface feels faintly waxy under a fingertip and the glass slides in with a soft, dry click.

Density you can feel

Dense hardwood at roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with very low shrinkage — the holder carries a full load of bottles without flexing, through steam-heavy cooking nights and furnace-dry winters alike.

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the block will not gray — it slowly deepens where the kitchen light falls. If the tone ever dulls where hands reach most, a light sanding and a wipe of oil bring it back in minutes.

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

Teak blocks are pulled one at a time by selectors with decades at the stacks, read for tone and grain around each cradle. A block with twist or dull figure never leaves the rack.

The shaping process

The cradles are traced, then cut a sixteenth outside the line — the remainder pared and sanded away by hand as each opening earns its final curve.

The hand refinement

Every cradle and edge moves through five grits of sandpaper until the surface feels right against an open palm, not merely looks right.

The final inspection

Oil is worked in coat by thin coat and buffed between passes. The maker seats a bottle in every cradle, checks the mount points and finish, then signs it out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

How do the holders store wine properly?

Each holder is shaped from solid teak, cradling bottles at the gentle angle that keeps corks wet — the same rule a cellar rack follows. Hung away from the oven and direct sun, it stores the wine correctly while displaying it.

What capacities can I order?

Countertop or wall-mounted — what is involved?

This design hangs on the wall as a shelf accent. Mounting hardware rated for a full load of bottles is included — anchor into studs where you can, since loaded wine runs about three pounds a bottle, and level the piece before loading.

Any care advice?

Dust between bottles occasionally and wipe drips from opened bottles before they set — the oiled surface releases them easily if you catch them early. An annual wipe of oil keeps the cradles rich where the glass rests; that is the whole routine.

How do wine holders ship?

Every holder is made to order and ships in a fitted, padded box, with wall hardware bagged inside. Tracking arrives by email the day it ships, and if the box arrives damaged, photograph it before opening and we make it right.
