These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

This vanity begins as one thick teak board, chosen for straight grain and cut to a 16-by-18-inch footprint. Teak earns its place at the sink honestly: its own oils and silica shed water, so there is no particleboard core to swell and no veneer to peel. The maker squares it, hand-sands every face, then seals the surface against daily steam.
Most bathroom storage is a laminate box that bloats the first time a towel drips down its back. This is the wood commercial steam rooms are built from, hung at the height you choose. Years in, guests still pause on it — a plank of real wood where they expected a cabinet — and you get to say a workshop, not a warehouse.

Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the shelf face. Under bright vanity bulbs the figure stays calm and never busy — the consistent look that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils, which is why commercial steam rooms are built from it. Beneath the sealed PU topcoat the golden tone stays warm rather than plastic, even when the mirror fogs over after a shower.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, this shelf stays flat and true through winter's dry furnace air and August steam alike, never cupping on one side.
Golden now, silver whenever
Teak's color is a surface story. Black speckling on bath teak is mildew feeding on soap film, not the wood failing — rinse it, run the fan, and a light sanding with fresh sealer resets the gold.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Teak boards are pulled one at a time for straight grain and even tone, then graded after twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln; stock with twist or checks never becomes a vanity shelf.
The shaping process
The slab is cut slightly proud of its final 16-by-18 footprint on the bench, leaving material for the handwork that trues each edge square.
The hand refinement
Faces, edges, and the underside are sanded through five successive grits until the shelf feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
The waterproof PU coat goes on and cures; the maker checks level, corners, and finish under the light before the shelf is signed out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

What does installation require?
A concealed steel hanging rail carries the vanity and must anchor into studs or blocking, so the shelf holds its load without sag. Plumbing hookup uses standard US fittings — most plumbers complete installation in under an hour.
How do I keep the teak golden?
Skip hardware-store 'teak oil,' which holds no teak oil and can feed mildew. Wipe standing water off the counter, run the fan after showers, and re-seal once or twice a year when the surface looks thirsty — far less often in a powder room.
How is the vanity delivered?
Every vanity is made to order and freight-crated with the rail, hardware, and template packed inside. Photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note any damage on the receipt; if it arrives harmed we make it right. Tracking and a delivery window come with every order.
