Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The proportions are old ones — a low top, classic lines, no tricks — sized to sit right with sofas from farmhouse to modern. Each top is chosen board by board for its grain, then shaped and finished by hand with natural waxes and oils, not a film: a surface meant to be touched, not protected.
A coffee table takes more direct hits than anything else you own — heels, dice, sweating glasses, one Lego week a month. On lacquered veneer every mark is permanent; on oiled solid teak a mark is ten minutes of fine sandpaper and a rag. That difference is what lets you stop policing your own living room.
Super Bowl Sunday, fourth quarter. The seven-layer dip holds center table, a sweating bottle rings the corner nobody is watching, and somebody's heels land at the two-minute warning. Monday the rings wipe away with the crumbs — oiled teak keeps no record of the score.
Saturday morning after a Lego-heavy week. Ten minutes with fine sandpaper, a rag of oil, and Tuesday's gouge is gone — the surface reads like nothing happened. It is the one trick a laminate top will never learn.
October at the lake house — pipes drained, heat off until May, months of 40 degrees and bone-dry air ahead. In spring the top is as flat as the day it left the kiln, standing exactly where and how they left it.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the top — the calm figure that made teak famous — and it catches morning sun in long, warm bands across the room.
Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub natural waxes and more oil into the top. Red wine left overnight wipes off in the morning without leaving a ghost.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, kiln-dried over three slow weeks before joinery, the top stays flat from furnace season through August humidity.
Years of mugs and sunlight only deepen the top's gold — graying takes outdoor rain it will never meet. If it ever dulls, a light sanding and fresh oil bring it back in an afternoon at home.
Boards for each top are pulled one at a time and matched by tone and grain in daylight at the racks; stock with twist or dull figure never makes the cut.
The low profile is laid out from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that trues every edge straight.
Top and edges are sanded by hand through successive grits, the last pass always with the grain, until the table feels finished from every seat around it.
Natural waxes and oils go on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level on a flat bench, then joints and finish, before it ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
