These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Your bench will not match the photo. Good.
This is the one category where the catalog photo is guaranteed wrong: a live edge is the tree's own outline, and no two trees drew the same line. The curve of your branch bench — the swell, the taper, the knot the builder kept — exists exactly once. The grain you receive is the provenance of the piece.
So order it the way you would commission anything: expecting a range, not a render. Teak runs honey to deep caramel and shifts with sun and season. What stays constant is underneath — a seat shaped for real sitting, joined wood to wood, and heavy enough that the garden arranges itself around it.

The oils
Teak grows its own protective oils, and they carry the wood through dry winters and humid summers that crack lesser boards. Spills just need wiping up promptly.
The weight
Lift a corner and you feel dense, solid stock with no hollow frames or fillers. Kiln-dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put, even when the heat comes on.
The years ahead
Teak deepens toward a richer brown as it lives with you. A wipe of teak oil twice a year holds the tone you chose.

Planks graded by practiced eyes, then kiln-dried slowly until they settle.
Mill
Each board cut, squared, and matched to the pattern.

Joined and eased with hand tools after the machines have done the rough work.
Finish
Sanded fine, then oiled until the grain reads deep.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Questions customers usually ask
Can it really stay outside all year, snow included?
Yes. Teak's own oils and silica are the chemistry ship decks have trusted for centuries, and these boards were kiln-dried for twenty days before the build, so the freeze-and-thaw year does not open the joints. In full sun and rain the surface silvers over six to twelve months — a paper-thin layer that a light sanding reverses completely. A cover under heavy snow is optional; the wood does not require the garage.
Do I need to oil it? Every site says something different.
The sites disagree because most commercial 'teak oil' is a linseed-and-varnish blend named for what it is applied to — it contains no oil from teak, wears off outdoors in weeks, and can feed mildew and black spots. So take one clear position: either apply nothing and let it silver, or wash the bench each spring and apply one coat of teak sealer to keep the gold. That is the entire regimen — teak protects itself; your job is small.
