Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Most tables hide where the tree ended; this one keeps it. Each teak slab is chosen for the character of its live edge, dried through a twenty-day kiln so a top this long stays flat by the door, then shaped and sanded by hand until knots and grain read plainly under the oil. No two consoles come out remotely alike.
An entryway either has one place where keys, mail, and leashes land, or the whole house becomes that place. This slab is the boundary: slim enough for a hallway, solid enough to take the daily drop without complaint, and the first thing anyone sees when the door opens — which is exactly the quiet pride of it.
A school morning at 7:40 — permission slip signed against the slab, one shoe still missing, the leash off its hook. Thirty seconds of chaos lands on the console and stops there instead of spreading through the house.
The walls are landlord-beige again, fourth apartment in six years. Within an hour of the truck leaving, the live edge anchors the entry, and the place starts being theirs.
Photo cards propped along the back, a cedar garland tracing the raw edge, keys still landing in their bowl between parties. The console works the whole holiday month without asking for anything.

Tight, straight grain runs the slab's length, broken by honest knots that raking hallway light picks out in the morning — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.
Teak's own oils meet hand-rubbed coats along the top and the raw contour, deepening the gold to a warm satin that takes keys, gloves, and wet umbrella handles without fuss.
Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage near half that of oak — the slab holds flat beside the door through every furnace winter and humid August.
Indoors the slab deepens toward honey-amber; the silver-grey belongs to outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil restore the gold whenever you choose.
Slabs are pulled one at a time for the character of their live edge, kiln-dried stock only. Twisted, checked, or dull-figured wood never makes the cut.
The top is dimensioned slightly proud of the line, the natural edge preserved, leaving material for the final handwork.
Top and edge are sanded by hand through five grits until even the raw contour feels smooth against an open palm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level and base on a flat bench before the console leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
