Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Floating media console

Every cable hidden behind one teak curve

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

The media wall, reduced to one clean line of teak.

The wrapped frame took rounds of drawings — how deep a soundbar sits, where the drawers fall, how the curve returns on itself — before matched teak boards were cut for it. Solid through frame, shelf, and drawer fronts, no veneer skin over MDF, and every board spends twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln so the drawers still slide true in year ten.

A media wall collects the worst clutter in the house — the blinking router, the power strip, the cords nobody claims. This console hangs on studs and swallows all of it: gear on the open shelf, remotes in the drawers, cables through the rear openings. The floor runs clean underneath, the room reads larger the day it goes up, and the wall turns from electronics back into wood.

  • Open shelf ventilates the receiver; cable ports sit where gear actually is
  • Drawers swallow remotes, controllers, and the cords nobody claims
  • Floor underneath stays clear for the vacuum and rug sprawl
  • Mounts into studs — nothing for a toddler to pull over
  • Frees the floor space a small living room feels first

It fits real homes.

Friday, lights down

Friday, lights down

Movie night, and the TV floats over a calm wall — router, power strip, and every cord behind the teak, remotes in the drawer where they were last week. Warm wood where a black plastic wall of electronics used to be.

Saturday, 7 a.m.

Saturday, 7 a.m.

Cartoons at one volume, cereal at another. The kids colonize the rug and the clear floor under the console, and nothing on the shelf sits within a toddler's yank — the cables all live out of reach behind the frame.

The nightly pass

The nightly pass

Ten p.m., and the robot vacuum hums under the console on its rounds — nothing to bump, nothing to move. The pre-guest tidy of the media wall is down to five minutes, most of it optional.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the frame and drawer fronts. In the glow of a paused movie the long curve reads as one calm line across the wall, never busy.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more into the top and rounded edges. A palm set on the console during a February movie night finds warm satin, never cold plastic.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak — drawer gaps stay even while the furnace takes winter humidity down into the twenties.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the console only deepens toward amber, screen-light and all — teak will not silver without outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring back first gold any weekend.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the lumber stacks, matched by tone across frame, shelf, and drawer fronts. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The wrapping curve is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — spare material for the handwork where the frame returns on itself.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Rounded edges and faces are sanded by hand through successive grits until the continuous outline feels like one piece under an open palm.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. Drawers are fitted until the reveals run even, and the console hangs on a shop rail for a level check before crating.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
TV cabinets in this collection are solid wood with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits. No particleboard means no shelf sagging under a receiver in year three — and no formaldehyde glue warming up behind an amplifier.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Send the TV size and what lives beneath it — dimensions are locked before the build starts, not after.
What setup is required?
This console mounts to the wall on a concealed rail with included hardware — anchor into studs at the marked points using the supplied template. Feed cables through the rear openings; wall-hung, it needs no anti-tip strap.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top — grit under sliding gear works like sandpaper. Rings from a sweating glass wipe off the oiled teak, and a thin coat of oil once a year keeps top and drawer fronts even.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every cabinet is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit. Delivery is scheduled with you in advance — photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note anything on the receipt, so any fix starts from that photo.
