Natural grain. Finished by hand.

Built around the character of teak, this record player stand is hand-finished so the wood still looks and feels like wood.

Not included: turntables, speakers, records, audio components, cables, and other electronics; loose mounting or installation hardware; other non-wood accessories; decorative objects and styling props.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Record player stand

Where the last record lives

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A record stand sized for the bedroom's quieter hours.

The designers kept the form light on purpose — clean lines, a low profile, a stand that holds a turntable without filling the room. The teak is solid through, chosen for calm, even grain and dried three slow weeks in the kiln, then shaped and hand-sanded until the edges disappear under a fingertip.

New furniture in a bedroom usually announces itself for two weeks — a lacquer smell you sleep beside. This one arrives smelling faintly of wood, because natural oil is the whole finish and there is no particleboard under it. The corner it fills becomes the calmest ritual of the day, and it is entirely yours.

  • Holds a bedroom turntable level and steady
  • Keeps the nightly rotation within arm's reach
  • Compact footprint tucks into corners and narrow walls
  • Natural oil finish — no lacquer smell where you sleep
  • Doubles as a bedside display surface

It fits real homes.

Last record, lamps low

Last record, lamps low

Eleven o'clock, phone face-down across the room, one quiet side spinning before sleep. The stand keeps the ritual an arm's reach from the bed, where the day actually ends.

Slow Saturday, 8 a.m.

Slow Saturday, 8 a.m.

No alarm, coffee carried back to bed, low autumn sun tracing the grain up the stand's rails while a favorite album turns. Nobody is going anywhere for an hour.

Furnace night, first winter

Furnace night, first winter

January, the forced-air heat cycling all night. The stand does not creak, gap, or drift out of level — its wood finished moving in the kiln, not in your bedroom.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Calm, even grain runs the top and rails — figure quiet enough for a room meant for sleep, with a low sheen that catches lamplight instead of glaring under it.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more in until the tone deepens to a warm satin. Bedside air gets wood and oil, never a film of lacquer to smell for weeks.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter and kiln-dried for twenty days, the top holds a turntable dead level through winter heat and August humidity alike.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Bedroom light will not silver this teak — that takes outdoor sun and rain. Expect it a shade deeper and warmer by next year; a light sanding and oil reset it whenever you like.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time and matched for the calmest grain in the stack — thirty-year selectors set aside anything with twist, checks, or dull figure.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The clean-lined frame is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — a saw-width left for the handwork to claim.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Rails, top, and shelf face are sanded by hand through five grits until every edge reads smooth under a fingertip in the dark.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker levels the top, checks the shelf fit against an LP sleeve, and signs the stand out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Is it built for a turntable specifically?
Yes. Each stand is solid hardwood with a dead-flat, vibration-damping top for the turntable and storage sized to LPs — a full 13-inch clearance, verified before any piece leaves the workshop.
Can it grow with my record collection?
Yes. Stands are built to order, so width grows with your collection — from a 24-inch single-shelf build to a 60-inch run that holds several hundred records plus the amp.
Will the shelves sag under vinyl?
No. Shelves are solid teak sized so a full row of vinyl — roughly 35 pounds per shelf foot — cannot bow them. Stands arrive assembled apart from bolt-on legs on some designs.
How should I care for it?
Dust with a dry cloth, keep the turntable level, and re-oil the top when it looks thirsty — once a year covers most bedrooms. Route cables through the back openings so nothing saws against a finished edge.
How does a stand arrive?
Each stand is made to order, corner-blocked, and shipped boxed or freight-crated by size. Tracking is included, and larger builds get a scheduled delivery call first.
Will it fit a small bedroom corner?
That is what this build is for. The footprint stays compact and the profile low, so it tucks beside a dresser or under a window. Since each stand is made to order, send your corner's width and we will size it to fit.
