Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Free standard shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states. Your piece ships crated or blanket-wrapped; freight delivery is curbside, with a scheduled window and tracking. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international orders, contact us first for a quote.

Damaged, defective, incorrect or not-as-described items: request a return or exchange within 30 days of receiving your order. Contact us before returning anything; we arrange approved return freight and help with repacking. We repair, replace or refund these pieces at no cost, custom sizes included. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. You can cancel free of charge within 48 hours of payment, before your wood is cut.

Real grain, real figure: every board here grew for decades before it reached the bench, and no two carry the same pattern.

The surface

Finished by hand with oil that sinks into the wood instead of sitting on top, so small marks blend in and the surface can always be renewed.

The weight

Solid stock with real heft. Dried before the build, it sits flat and stays put.

The years ahead

Natural wood settles into its own tone with time and light. Scratches sand out, and a tired finish comes back with fresh oil.

Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Free standard shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S. states, with no minimum purchase. For Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories and international addresses, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the cost. We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

How do returns work?
