Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · TV wall unit

The wall that lights its own shelves

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A full media wall, planned like architecture and built like furniture.

The designers laid this unit out the way an architect works a wall: closed storage low, open shelves composed around the screen, LED strips tucked where they wash light down the teak instead of glaring back. Artisans match the grain across every front before a single door is hung, working boards that spent twenty days in the kiln so the long spans stay straight.

A wall this size is not a warehouse item — it does not exist until you order it, then it is built to your components and shipped with photos along the way. Behind the composed teak, the console, the router, and the controller clutter disappear into closed cabinets. After dark the lit shelves carry the whole room, and what once was a black wall of electronics is now the piece the house is planned around.

  • Frames the TV inside a composed teak wall
  • LED shelves light books and objects, not the ceiling
  • Closed cabinets swallow consoles, routers, and controller clutter
  • Rear channels route power and HDMI out of sight
  • Dimmed shelves double as the room's night lighting

It fits real homes.

After the credits

After the credits

The movie ends and the screen goes dark, but the room does not — the LED shelves hold a low, warm glow over the teak, and the last conversation of the night happens in it before anyone moves to leave.

The lit gallery

The lit gallery

The vase from the honeymoon, the kids' first clay bowl, the signed ball — each on its own lit shelf. Guests tour the wall the way they would a mantel, item by item, and the stories come out one at a time.

School-night shutdown

School-night shutdown

Nine o'clock on a Tuesday: console powered off, controllers into the closed cabinet, one switch dims the whole wall to a nightlight glow. The living room signals bedtime better than any parent can, and the cords never showed once.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full width of the unit, so the long shelf lines read as one calm surface under the LED wash rather than a run of mismatched boards.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the shelf faces and doors, deepening the golden tone the warm shelf lighting was tuned to flatter — wood that glows rather than a coat that glares.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the long spans stay straight and the doors keep their reveal through the humid-summer, dry-winter cycling that racks lesser casework.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the gold simply deepens with the years. If one lit shelf ever tones ahead of the rest, a light sanding and fresh oil bring the wall back level in an afternoon.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time and grain-matched across the long shelf runs and door fronts, so a wall-wide unit reads as one piece. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

Each section is cut from templates slightly proud of the line, with channels routed for the LED strips and cable runs before assembly.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Shelf edges and door faces are sanded through successive grits until every long line feels as straight as it looks under the light.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker wires and tests every LED shelf, then checks doors and level before sign-out.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
TV cabinets in this collection are solid teak with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits — no particleboard shelf sagging under a receiver in year three. The long shelves hold their line loaded because there is no engineered core to creep.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size, the wall width, and what lives beneath it, and the unit is built to those numbers rather than adapted from a stock size.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with doors hung and shelves set. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV, and it installs into one stud in a few minutes.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top, and keep drinks on coasters during game nights. A yearly oiling keeps the top and doors even, and a scuff spot-sands and re-oils at home rather than going to a refinisher.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every unit is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit, with delivery scheduled in advance. Tracking is provided; photograph the crate and note anything on the receipt before signing so any claim is settled fast.
How do the LED shelves work day to day?
The strips are recessed into the shelf undersides, wired to a single low-voltage supply, and controlled from one switch or dimmer — warm light chosen to flatter teak. They run cool to the touch, and the fittings are standard replaceable parts, not sealed into the wood.
