Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Media console

Warm wood under the black screen

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A live edge under the screen, storage behind it.

The designers gave this console a grounded base, a live-edge top that seems to float, and drawers worked into the frame without breaking the line. An artisan matches the teak boards for continuous grain under north light, shapes the edge by hand, and fits each drawer at the bench. It is heavy — plan on two people — and that weight is the spec that means no wobble under a mounted screen.

A media wall collects the ugliest objects in the house: router, power strip, a nest of HDMI. This console swallows them through pre-cut rear openings and shuts a drawer on the remotes, so the wall reads as wood instead of electronics. When the screen goes dark at the end of the night, the best thing in the room is still on.

  • Solid top carries the TV, soundbar, and game-day spread
  • Drawers shut on remotes, controllers, and cable clutter
  • Open shelving vents a receiver — nothing cooks
  • Rear openings route every cord out of sight
  • Live edge worth looking at with the screen off

It fits real homes.

Fourth quarter, feet up

Fourth quarter, feet up

Super Bowl Sunday, two-minute warning. Seven-layer dip at center console, a sweating bottle making a ring on the corner nobody is watching. Monday morning it all wipes away with the crumbs.

Kickoff at noon

Kickoff at noon

Friends arrive with drinks before the one o'clock game and the console top becomes the buffet line — chips, salsa, cold bottles straight from the cooler. Oiled teak keeps no record of any of it.

The remote amnesty

The remote amnesty

Saturday cartoons end, and every remote, controller, and stray cable disappears into the drawers. Thirty seconds later the living room belongs to the adults again.

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, straight grain runs the full span of the top out to the live edge, where the board's outline stays as the tree grew it — a horizon line under the screen instead of another black box.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and drawer fronts — a warm satin under a resting hand during movie night, never the cold gloss of a lacquered case.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, kiln-dried over twenty controlled days, the shelves carry a receiver without sagging and the case holds tight when the furnace dries the room to January air.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors and oiled once a year, the console keeps its gold for decades, deepening slightly in a bright room. A light sanding and fresh oil erase the party rings whenever you choose.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone and grain across the top and doors under the shop's north light. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The case and live-edge top are cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that gives the edge its profile.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Top, edge, and drawer fronts pass through five grades of sandpaper by hand until every surface feels right against an open palm.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker cycles every drawer, checks level, and runs a test cable through each rear opening before the console ships.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Are these built for real media equipment?
TV cabinets in this collection are solid wood with ventilated compartments and cable openings placed where equipment actually sits — no particleboard shelf sagging under a receiver in year three, because there is no particleboard anywhere in the build.
Can I size it to my wall and components?
Cabinets are made to order, so length can run wall to wall and compartments size to your components. Tell us the TV size and what lives beneath it.
What setup is required?
Cabinets arrive assembled with doors hung and shelves set — off the truck as a finished console, no allen key. Feed cables through the pre-cut rear openings; an anti-tip strap is included and recommended with a mounted or perched TV.
How do I care for it?
Dust the vents and cable openings when you dust the top — grit acts like sandpaper under sliding gear. Rings from game-night bottles wipe off the oiled surface; a yearly oiling keeps top and doors even.
How does a TV cabinet arrive?
Every cabinet is made to order and freight-crated, interior braced and doors locked for transit. Delivery is scheduled with you in advance; photograph the crate before the driver leaves and note anything on the receipt — damage is on us to fix.
What size TV fits on this console?
Because length is built to order, the top can be sized to your screen — as a rule, choose a console at least as wide as the TV, ideally several inches wider on each side. Tell us your screen's measurements and we will confirm the build.
