Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designer began with the wall itself — how long a line the eye wants under a mounted screen — then drew the curves that let solid surfaces flow into open bays. An artisan chose teak boards for the run of the top and shaped the low profile by hand: solid stock throughout, with no particleboard shelf waiting to sag under a receiver.
The media wall is the messiest spot in most homes — a black tangle of cables, a shelf bowing under a receiver by year three. Here the gear breathes in the open bays, the cables route out of sight behind, and warm grain runs where the plastic used to be. When the movie ends and the lights come up, the wood is what holds the room.
Friday night, the TV floating over a clean wall. The router, the power strip, and every cable live behind the teak panel; the soundbar sits in its bay. Warm wood where a black plastic stack of electronics used to be — the messiest wall in the house, finally quiet.
By December 26th the console has been the drinks station since the twelfth, three parties deep. Condensation rings from the punch bowl wipe straight off the oiled teak, and after the last guest leaves, the host runs a cloth down the top and finally exhales.
Friday, nine o'clock, no screens on. A record turns on the console top, two glasses of wine beside it, and the lamp catches the low sheen of oiled grain. The apartment goes quiet in the way only a room its owners actually chose can.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the console top — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. Under a fingertip the oiled surface is cool and slick, with no film to catch or peel along an edge.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and the faces of the open bays, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin. Open the crate and it smells faintly of a woodshop, not of chemicals — there is nothing here to off-gas near the couch.
Boards are chosen by thirty-year selectors, then dried twenty days in a controlled kiln, so the wood moves before the first cut, not in your living room. At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter the long top stays flat under equipment through a dry forced-air winter.
Indoors the console deepens toward honey-amber rather than going grey — silvering takes outdoor UV and rain that a living room never sees. If a sun-facing end ever lightens over the years, a light sanding and fresh oil bring the whole top back to gold.
After the twenty-day kiln, boards are pulled one at a time so the grain runs continuously down the long top. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.
The curved profile and open bays are traced from full-size templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork ahead.
The rounded front edge and bay openings are sanded by hand through five grits until every transition feels right against an open palm, not just under shop lights.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks the top for level, the bays for fit, and the finish before the console leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
