These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

One continuous curved silhouette carries a work surface, storage, and a soft band of integrated ambient light. Our designers drew the line first and worked the drawers in after, so nothing breaks the sweep; the maker fairs each teak transition by hand until a finger can travel the whole form without finding a seam.
When the home office is also the living room, the workday never quite leaves. This piece ends it on schedule: the laptop folds shut, chargers, notepads, and the cable nobody can throw away go into the drawers at five, one clear curve left standing, the light band on low by eight. Kiln-dried teak keeps those drawers sliding true through furnace winters — and the room goes back to being a room.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight grain follows the silhouette around every bend, and when the ambient band comes on, the light grazes that figure sideways — the grain does its best work at night.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the curved faces and drawer fronts — a warm satin under the fingertips at every pull, never a cold lacquer film.
Density you can feel
Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with about half oak's seasonal movement — so the fitted drawers slide the same in a humid August as in a furnace-dry January.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors the sweep deepens toward amber rather than greying — silvering takes outdoor rain and sun. A light sanding and fresh oil reset the gold whenever the mood changes.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are matched by thirty-year selectors so grain and tone run unbroken around the silhouette. Stock with twist or dull figure never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The continuous curve is traced from templates and cut slightly proud of the line, with the drawer openings worked into the sweep.
The hand refinement
Every transition between surface and curve is sanded by hand through five grits until the form reads as one uninterrupted motion.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker tests drawers and the integrated light before the piece leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Questions customers usually ask
Is the desk top really solid wood?
Solid teak through the curved form — no MDF core bent under a veneer, which is how most curved furniture is actually made. That is why the sweep can be re-sanded and re-oiled for decades instead of chipping at the bend.
Can I adjust the size or height?
Each piece is built after you order, so length, height, and drawer count can be adjusted. Standard sitting-desk height runs around 29 to 30 inches; tell us the chair you plan to use and we set the clearance so your knees and a laptop both fit underneath.
How much assembly is required?
None worth naming — the curved body arrives as one finished piece because it is built as one piece. Any protective transit blocks pull off by hand; the drawers and light are tested before crating.
How do I care for the top?
Wipe spills when you see them and dry the surface; the oiled teak shrugs off sweating glasses. A thin coat of oil once or twice a year keeps the sweep rich — ten minutes with a rag, no refinisher, no film to chip.
How are desks delivered?
Made to order, wrapped, corner-blocked, and crated when size demands. You get tracking at dispatch and a heads-up before any freight delivery; photograph the crate before the driver leaves, note anything on the receipt, and if transit damage happens we make it right.
How do the drawers and lighting work?
The drawers are built into the curved silhouette and slide on fitted wooden runs, keeping the outer sweep unbroken. The teak spends twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln before it is cut, so the wood has finished moving and the drawers keep sliding true through daily use, season to season. The ambient lighting is integrated into the form and casts a soft, indirect glow — ask us about the power connection when you order.
