Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The elongated top keeps the flowing edge the tree grew, over a solid base built for decades of leaned elbows. Our designers weighted the monolithic form so it stands calm, not heavy; the artisan selects the slab for its figure, shapes the base, and hand-oils the grain — solid teak clean through, no veneer to chip at the live edge — until it reads in full.
The math of a table you touch three times a day is plain: buy the four-hundred-dollar one and you buy it again, and again, across the same decade. This one is heavy enough that two adults carry it in, joined so a forearm on the corner finds nothing to report, and kiln-dried twenty days so it holds its line the first January the furnace runs. In the kitchen it becomes the address of the household.
Bowls and platters end to end, every chair pulled in, one cousin extra. The long top absorbs the whole crowd and still leaves room for the salsa debate, the oiled slab shrugging off a dropped spoonful without a mark.
Four o'clock, backpacks open, worksheets spread down one side while dinner prep starts across the kitchen. The wavy edge marks whose territory ends where, and a pencil dent from long division sands out come Saturday.
Eleven, house quiet, one mug of tea on the oiled slab and the furnace ticking through a dry night. Your thumb finds the dip in the live edge without looking — the same worn-smooth spot every night.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the long top — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name, warm and smooth under a forearm through a two-hour dinner.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the tabletop, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that stands up to daily dinners — food-safe once cured, and smelling of the woodshop, not of chemicals, the day it arrives.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the slab stays flat and true through holiday steam at the stove and the dry pull of forced-air heat in January.
Indoors the top deepens toward richer honey-amber rather than graying; silvering needs outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring it back to first gold whenever a hard year leaves its mark.
Slabs are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks, chosen for figure, soundness, and a live edge worth keeping, then dried twenty days in a controlled kiln. Stock with twist or dull grain never makes the cut.
The base is traced from templates and bandsawn slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that squares it to the slab.
Top and edge are sanded by hand through successive grits until the natural contour feels smooth to every passing forearm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, base fit, and finish before the table leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
