Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The slab keeps the outline the tree drew. A selector with thirty years chooses it, and twenty days in a controlled kiln take the moisture out before the first cut — so a full slab holds flat through a heated December. The designer balanced that wild edge against a sculptural solid-teak base, and the artisan flattens the top by hand, then oils it until the grain moves like water under the light.
This is the surface the household actually lives on — homework, taxes, birthday cakes, the good dishes twice a year. Press a forearm to the corner and nothing reports back; the joinery does not rack loose the way a flat-pack table does by year two. Buy it once, and the arithmetic of replacing a cheap table three times over a decade quietly answers itself.
Four o'clock, backpacks hit the chairs and the table becomes homework headquarters — worksheets, colored pencils, one negotiated snack. Pencil dents and eraser dust wipe off, and at six the same wood holds dinner.
Sunday, both leaves in: grandparents at one end, the baby's high chair at the corner, platters passing over the live edge. The table holds twelve elbows and nobody checks the corner for wobble.
Plates cleared, one candle left burning, the conversation that would not survive a move to the sofa. The best talks of the year happen leaning on this wood, long after the food is gone.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the slab top — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. A palm run down the surface finds one long, unbroken line.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and its live edge, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that sheds a spilled glass of red rather than ghosting it.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the top stays flat and true through decades of holiday seasons and forced-air winters.
Indoors, teak deepens toward honey rather than graying — silvering takes outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the tabletop's gold back anytime.
Selectors with thirty years at the stacks pull teak slabs one at a time for a live edge and figure worth a dining room, then dry them twenty days in a controlled kiln. Twisted or checked stock never makes the cut.
The top is cut slightly proud of its line, the natural outline preserved, the sculptural base shaped to balance it — material reserved for handwork.
Top, edge, and base are sanded through successive grits until the rim feels right against a resting forearm, not merely looks right.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, base fit, and finish before the table is signed out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
