These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A console that greets the door like sculpture.
The designers worked the mid-century vocabulary — clean lines, a base that curves instead of merely standing — until the silhouette held up from every angle a hallway offers. Then an artisan picks the teak boards, saws the form, fairs each curve by hand, and rubs oil deep into the grain.
A base like this is where flat-pack fails — glued veneer over a hollow core cannot hold a fair curve, and it loosens within a year of daily use. This one is cut from solid boards, kiln-dried twenty days so the curve stays fair, and joined wood to wood, so it never racks or telegraphs a seam. Coats come off, keys land, and a guest's hand finds the curve, asking where you found it.

Drawing the line
A wall-less loft, the sofa floating mid-room. The console lands behind it and suddenly there is an edge — living room ends here, entry begins there. They taped the outline on the floor before ordering, and the sculpted base reads as art from both sides.
Flowers on Fridays
A grocery-store bouquet in a plain vase, set on the teak under the hallway mirror. The whole entry looks intentional for the price of tulips.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, even grain runs the top and follows the sculpted base, and hallway light down its length makes the curve read from the front door — the calm figure you catch a hand tracing while pulling on a coat.
The finish nature applied
Open the crate and the entry smells faintly sweet and leathery — teak's own oils, not chemicals. We hand-rub more into the top and every curve, a low satin the hallway lamp catches without the plastic glare of a sprayed finish.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, teak moves about half as much as oak. When January furnace air drops the hall into the twenties, the top stays flat and the sculpted joints stay tight — keep it a couple of feet from the vent.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors this console never silvers — it deepens toward honey-amber by the entry window, a shade a year. A key scratch blends into that patina, and fine paper with a wipe of oil resets the top in ten minutes.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are pulled one at a time, grain-matched across the top and base. Twisted or dull stock never becomes a console.
The shaping process
The sculptural base is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork on each curve.
The hand refinement
Top and base are sanded through successive grits until the curves feel right against an open palm, not merely look right.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks stance, level, and finish before the console ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

What are the console tables made from?
Each console in this collection is cut from solid wood — often a single continuous slab for the top — then hand-finished so the grain, knots, and natural edges remain part of the piece.
Do you build to fit narrow hallways?
Consoles are made to order, so length and depth adjust to your hallway or entry. A narrow ten-inch depth for tight halls is one of our most common builds.
Will I need to assemble it?
This design's sculptural base ships joined to the top wherever size allows. Larger builds arrive in two parts that connect with pre-fitted bolts — a ten-minute job for one person with the included key.
What care does a console need?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe up water from vases and umbrellas promptly. An annual oiling keeps the top ready for the keys, mail, and hands it greets daily.
How is a console packed?
Every console is made to order and packed in a fitted crate or double-walled carton with rigid corner guards. Tracking is emailed to you the day it ships.
