Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Teak is the wood mid-century record furniture was always meant to be — the Danish credenzas of the 1960s still trade hard after sixty years of American HVAC. This case honors that line honestly: solid teak all the way through, boards joined wood to wood, finished in natural oil. No veneer over particleboard pretending to a pedigree it lacks.
A shelf of LPs is heavier than it looks, and flat-pack vinyl storage announces that within a year — bowing under the weight it was sold for. Here the records stand spine-out on solid teak, the turntable sits dead level, and the nightly ceremony of sleeve, platter, needle happens on furniture with the same gravity as the music.
A rainy Sunday in October, coffee refilled, an album playing all the way through — an event in a skipping world. The cabinet keeps the afternoon's soundtrack at arm's reach, the warmest thing in the room besides the mug.
Saturday night, friends over. Someone kneels and starts walking fingers across the spines; ten minutes later there is a stack of maybes on the cabinet top and a friendly argument about what plays first. The cabinet hosts the whole debate.
Nine on a weeknight, kids down, lights low, no screens on. One deliberate choice from the shelf, then sleeve, platter, needle — the small ceremony lands on solid oiled teak, which is exactly the gravity it deserves.

Tight, straight, even grain runs across the top and down the case sides — the calm, consistent figure mid-century designers built a movement on, and lamplight raking the top at night shows why.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub natural oil into the top and shelf faces for a subtle sheen that never reads as plastic — and the case arrives smelling like wood, with nothing to off-gas near your ears or your records.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, kiln-dried for twenty slow days before joinery, the top stays dead level under the turntable from humid August through the first dry week the furnace runs — the tonearm never knows the season changed.
Indoors and out of hard sun, the golden tone only deepens with the years, the way the sixty-year-old credenzas did; strong window light shifts the surface toward silver-grey. Fresh oil restores the gold anytime.
Boards for the top, sides, and shelves are pulled one at a time by selectors with thirty years at the stacks and matched by tone, so the cube reads as one calm surface.
The case is cut to its clean mid-century proportions, joints laid out wood to wood, with material left for the fitting handwork.
Edges and faces are sanded by hand through five grits until every corner of the cube feels crisp but never sharp against a passing hand.
Natural oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The top is checked level with a machinist's level — turntable duty demands it — before the cabinet leaves the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
