Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Each block is kiln-dried for twenty days before carving, so its moving is done before the first cut. Lift the bowl and both hands know it is solid — dense enough to hold its curve through steam, furnace season, and August humidity.
Golden now, silver whenever
Indoors, teak will not silver — it deepens toward honey-amber with the years. If the tone ever tires, a light sanding and fresh sealer take the bowl back to day one, at home, in an afternoon.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
A single dense, defect-free block is chosen at the lumber stacks by selectors with thirty years of practice. Stock with checks or dull figure never becomes a sink.
The shaping process
The bowl is carved slightly proud of its final curve, gouge marks smoothed away later — the shape following the grain the way water finds its own path.
The hand refinement
Inside and rim are sanded through five successive grits until the edge feels right against an open palm, not merely looks right.
The final inspection
The waterproof sealer cures in thin coats over several days. The maker fills the bowl, lets it stand, and drains it before it is signed out of the workshop.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Can a wooden sink actually hold water?
Yes — steam rooms answer that question daily. Each sink is carved from one dense hardwood block and sealed inside and out with a waterproof marine-grade finish made for running water; teak's own oils and silica were shedding water on ship decks long before bathrooms had faucets.
What sizes work with my counter?
Diameters and depths are made to order within plumbing-standard limits. Send your counter depth and faucet reach, and we confirm a size that splashes less and drains well — made to order means the bowl fits the counter, not the other way around.
What does installation require?
Sinks arrive pre-drilled for a standard 1.75-inch drain and sit on any flat counter. A plumber completes the drain fitting with ordinary US parts — most quote it at under an hour, no special hardware needed.
How do I keep the seal healthy?
Honestly, a wood basin asks one habit of you: towel it down after heavy use and skip abrasive cleaners. Renew the sealer about once a year — a ten-minute job at home — and the bowl stays waterproof. That is the tradeoff of a fixable finish: small upkeep instead of a film that fails all at once.
How is a sink packed?
Every sink is made to order and ships foam-cradled in a rigid double-walled box. If the carton ever arrives looking crushed, photograph it before opening and send us the picture — damage gets made right, no debate. Tracking lands in your email the day the sink leaves the workshop.
Can you drill the faucet and drain holes for my fixtures?
Yes — share your faucet and drain measurements when you order and we drill the holes to match before finishing, so the sink arrives ready for hookup. You can also choose the edge profile and a polished or satin-matte finish.
