Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers set the proportions around the equipment: 32 inches wide, 22 tall, with a dead-level top for the turntable and clearance below for sleeves. An artisan matches the teak boards by tone, joins them wood to wood with real joinery — no hollow box, no veneer — and hand-rubs oil into every finished face.
The teak credenzas people still hunt down from the 1960s are proof this wood survives sixty American winters of forced-air heat. Yours starts that clock now: the collection climbs out of milk crates and onto a level top a stylus can trust. When a friend kneels to read the spines — they always do — the stand is half of what they compliment.
Sunday afternoon, rain on the window, coffee going cold on the chair arm. The walk across the room to flip the record is the whole plan for the hour. The top does not shiver when the platter spins, so the needle never skips.
Nine p.m., two glasses of red on the shelf below, a record on the deck and every screen dark. Lamplight catches the low sheen of oiled grain. The apartment goes quiet the way only a room built on purpose can.
A kid up on tiptoe, a parent's hand steadying the tonearm, the crackle before the first track. The deck sits at exactly the height that puts the whole ceremony within a small reach. Some rituals get inherited standing right here.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the width of the top in one calm sweep under a warm bulb — the consistent figure that made teak the wood mid-century makers reached for first.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and shelf faces, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin — and an oiled top takes a set-down mug ring you lift with a cloth, not a refinish.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the top stays flat and true through a dry forced-air January — which a stylus, tracking in thousandths of an inch, quietly appreciates.
Indoors the teak only deepens. If a decade of sleeve-shuffling ever dulls the top, a light sanding and fresh oil bring back the gold without moving a single record.
Boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone across top and shelf, then kiln-dried twenty days so movement finishes before the first cut. Stock with twist or checks never makes the cut.
Panels are cut slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that gives the mid-century edges their final profile.
Top, shelf, and legs are sanded through successive grits until every edge feels right against an open palm.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks that the top sits dead level with a straightedge before the stand ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
