Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
General care
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A clean teak cube built around the ritual of vinyl.
The proportions were worked out around the objects it serves — a dead-level top for the turntable, storage squared to LP sleeves. The teak is chosen at the lumber stacks, dried through a twenty-day kiln cycle so it cannot creep out of level later, joined by hand, and finished in natural oil that leaves the grain plain to see.
A shelf of records is heavier than most furniture admits — flat-pack media stands bow under it by the second year. Solid teak does not: a full row of vinyl sits on wood that will not sag, on a top steady enough for a stylus. Teak carried the Danish credenzas of the sixties; this cube is built to age the same way.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight grain runs the length of the top and down the cube's faces, reading calm in lamplight and daylight both — the figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.
The finish nature applied
Teak's own oils meet hand-rubbed coats until the cube holds a warm satin. On delivery day it smells faintly of leather and sawdust — never of lacquer.
Density you can feel
Roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak — the top stays dead flat under the turntable through furnace winters and humid Augusts.
Golden now, silver whenever
Kept indoors, teak deepens toward honey-amber rather than silvering — the grey takes outdoor sun and rain. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the gold back to the cube whenever.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Teak boards are pulled and matched by tone across the cube — three slow weeks of drying behind them before they reach the bench. Twisted or checked stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
Panels are cut slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that squares every corner of the cube.
The hand refinement
Top, edges, and shelf faces are sanded by hand through five grits until each surface feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Natural oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks the top with a straightedge and level before the stand ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
Is it built for a turntable specifically?
Yes. Each stand is solid teak with a dead-flat top for the turntable and storage sized to LPs — a full 13-inch clearance, checked with a straightedge before any piece leaves the workshop. Solid wood also damps the hum a thin hollow panel passes straight to the stylus.
Can it grow with my record collection?
Yes. Stands are built to order, so width grows with your collection — from a 24-inch single-shelf build to a 60-inch run that holds several hundred records plus the amp.
Will the shelves sag under vinyl?
No. Record weight is the real test of media furniture, and it is why these shelves are solid teak rather than veneer over a hollow core — a full row of vinyl cannot bow them. Stands arrive assembled apart from bolt-on legs on some designs.
How should I care for it?
Dust with a dry cloth, keep the stand a couple of feet from heat vents, and re-oil the top once a year. Route cables through the back openings so nothing saws against a finished edge.
How does a stand arrive?
Each stand is made to order, corner-blocked, and shipped boxed or freight-crated by size. Tracking is included, and larger builds get a scheduled delivery call first — photograph the packaging before signing if anything looks crushed, and we make it right.
Does the cube design suit a bedroom?
That is what it was drawn for. The closed cube profile reads like small casework beside a dresser or bed, and because each stand is made to order, we can size it to the wall space you have.
