These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The designers held this console to clean mid-century proportions — 30 inches wide and tall, a slim 12 deep — so it stands close to the wall without crowding the walkway. A selector with thirty years at the lumber stacks chooses each teak board, a twenty-day kiln dries it until the moisture meter says done, and the maker keeps the organic edges and oils the surface by hand.
A console takes the first lean of every arriving guest and the daily dropped keys, so printed veneer over particleboard chips at the corner within a year and shows the sawdust underneath. This is solid teak through the top and legs, no core to expose, heavy enough that it does not walk when leaned on. Indoors it deepens a shade toward caramel in its first sunny months — the wood settling in, not fading.

Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight, even grain runs the width of the tabletop — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name. Under an entry lamp the grain lifts to a low sheen you catch from the stairs.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and legs, a warm satin that never feels like plastic — and it arrives smelling faintly of wood, not the chemical haze of a fresh flat-pack box.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the slim top stays flat and true against the wall through a forced-air winter.
Golden now, silver whenever
Left alone, teak weathers toward a refined silver-grey — a surface change only, and one indoor air never starts. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the console back to gold anytime.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Teak boards are pulled one at a time, grain-matched across the tabletop, and dried twenty days in a controlled kiln. Twisted or dull stock never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The mid-century silhouette is traced from templates, then bandsawn slightly proud of the line for the handwork ahead.
The hand refinement
Top and edges are sanded through successive grits until they feel right against an open palm, not merely look right.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level and stance before the console is signed out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

What are the console tables made from?
Each console in this collection is cut from solid wood — often a single continuous slab for the top — then hand-finished so the grain, knots, and natural edges remain part of the piece.
Do you build to fit narrow hallways?
Consoles are made to order, so length and depth adjust to your hallway or entry. A narrow ten-inch depth for tight halls is one of our most common builds.
Will I need to assemble it?
Most consoles arrive assembled. Designs with sculptural bases ship in two parts that join with pre-fitted bolts — a ten-minute job for one person with the included key, no wordless diagrams.
What care does a console need?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe up water from vases and umbrellas promptly. An annual oiling keeps the top ready for the keys and hands it greets daily; kept a couple of feet from a heat vent, a kiln-dried teak top holds its shape through winter.
How is a console packed?
Every console is made to order and packed in a fitted crate or double-walled carton with rigid corner guards. Tracking is emailed to you the day it ships.
What fits on a 30-inch console?
At 30 inches wide, 30 tall, and 12 deep, the top comfortably holds a table lamp, a catch-all bowl, and two or three frames — or a single wide vase if you like it spare. It sits flush behind most sofa backs and along entry walls without narrowing the walkway.
