Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers kept the proportions honest: a smooth flowing contour, recessed pulls, legs that lift the case so light passes beneath. It is the stance Danish makers gave teak sixty years ago — their credenzas still trade hard in the States, proof this wood survives decades of forced-air furnaces — and ours is solid through, oiled not lacquered, so the finish renews at home instead of peeling.
Come the third week of November the case earns its keep: platters staged on top while the turkey owns the table, linens and chargers deep in the drawers, the bar set by December 12th and not struck until January. Somebody's aunt asks, every single year, where you found it — and the answer improves as the teak deepens.
The Wednesday night before, the pies come out of hiding. Thursday the turkey owns the table, so pies, extra glasses, and the gravy boat line up along the teak. The sideboard runs the second shift of the biggest dinner of the year.
Garland along the back edge from the 12th on, cards propped between candlesticks, the good napkins waiting in the top drawer. Condensation rings from the punch bowl wipe off the oiled top. For one month a year, this is the most photographed spot in the house.
Off-season it works quietly — chargers, placemats, the drawer of things every household needs but never displays. Open, glide, shut, even in an August of AC cycling and Gulf-coast humidity. The recessed pulls never snag a sleeve on the way past.

Tight, straight grain runs as one family across the drawer fronts and top — the calm figure that made teak the wood mid-century makers reached for by name. In low dinner-party light it reads as a single warm band.
Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more into the top and rounded corners until it holds a soft glow and feels cool under a serving hand. It arrives smelling of wood and faint leather, not varnish — nothing to off-gas near the dinner table.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the case stays square through the winter-summer swing — every board spent twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln, so the drawers still glide in a dry January.
Indoors this teak will not silver — it deepens toward caramel year by year, fastest where the afternoon sun crosses the top. A light sanding and fresh oil bring back year-one gold whenever you want it.
Boards are pulled one at a time at the lumber stacks and grain-matched across the drawer fronts. Twisted or dull stock never becomes a case.
The curved contour and recessed pulls are traced from workshop templates, then cut slightly proud — material left for the handwork.
Rounded corners and pull recesses are sanded through five grits until fingers find them smooth in the dark, mid-dinner, without looking.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker fits the drawers, squares the legs, and signs it out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
