Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The designers drew a clean 30-by-18-inch counter at a comfortable 30-inch height, then stopped the saw short of one side and let the tree finish the line. An artisan selects each slab for how that edge moves, sands it smooth, and seals it with waterproof and PU coats. Solid teak throughout — no particleboard core to swell where the water pools daily.
A bathroom of straight tile and cold porcelain runs the same in every house on the block. The live edge is the one line no factory could draw twice, and teak stays warm to the touch when the tile does not. Weekend guests come out the first morning asking which tree it kept — and you answer the way people answer questions about art, because in this room it is.
Nine-thirty at night, the long day finally over. A towel and a glass of wine on the counter, steam softening the mirror. A hand rests on the live edge — wood that never goes cold the way tile does — and the day quietly lets go.
A beach-house bath with the window open all June. The faucet hardware will pit before the season ends, but the teak counter just deepens a shade in the salt air. Boat-deck chemistry, doing quiet work where lesser wood would swell and stick.
A four-year-old up on a step stool, both hands planted on the counter, brushing with great ceremony and greater splashing. The sealed teak takes the puddles and the toothpaste smears and asks for nothing back but an evening wipe.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the counter, then breaks into the live edge no two slabs share — the calm figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name.
Teak carries its own natural oils, which is why commercial steam rooms are built from it. The sealed waterproof topcoat adds a light gloss while the golden tone stays warm underneath, even when the mirror fogs.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the counter stays flat and true through the wet-dry swing of daily showers, never lifting at the seam.
Teak's color is a surface story. Black speckling is mildew feeding on soap film, not the wood failing — rinse it, run the fan, and a light sanding with fresh sealer brings the gold straight back.
Slabs are pulled one at a time for a live edge worth keeping, then kiln-dried twenty days so the wood finishes moving before it is shaped. Stock with twist, checks, or a dull line never becomes a vanity.
The counter is cut slightly proud of its 30-by-18 footprint on the straight sides, leaving the natural edge exactly as the tree drew it.
The top, underside, and every ripple of the live edge are sanded by hand until they feel right against an open palm.
Waterproof and PU coats go on thin and cure fully. The maker checks level, seal, and edge before the vanity is signed out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
