General care
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

A console lives by its proportions — long enough to matter, shallow enough never to crowd a hall. Each top is cut from solid teak chosen for its figure, knots left honest instead of filled and hidden, edges eased by hand, the whole surface oiled until the grain sits deep. What you see is the board itself.
Plenty of consoles are a photograph of wood glued over a hollow core — the chipped corner eventually tells the truth. This one weighs what a teak board weighs and sounds solid when knuckles ask. It stands where the house begins, and every person who enters passes close enough to tell the difference by hand.

Lamp at 4:45
The clocks fall back on a Sunday and dusk starts arriving mid-afternoon. From November on, the lamp on the console clicks on at 4:45, catches the low sheen of the oiled grain, and warms the whole end of the room until spring.
First piece placed
New house, August, the sofa still ten days out. The console lands in the front hall the first afternoon, the keys find it by evening, and the place starts feeling owned instead of purchased.

Teak, up close.
Grain that reads quiet
Tight, straight, even grain runs the full length of the top, broken only by honest knots — proof it came from a tree — that your thumb finds without looking.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own natural oils; we hand-rub more into the top and legs. Umbrella drips and vase rings sit on the satin surface until a cloth collects them.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, kiln-dried twenty days so the wood finished its moving before the first cut, the long top stays flat through vent-dry winters.
Golden now, silver whenever
Hall light deepens the top's gold over the years — teak does not silver away from outdoor sun and rain. If it ever tires, a light sanding and fresh oil bring the color back in an afternoon.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Boards are pulled one at a time for the long top, matched by tone and figure in daylight. Stock with twist or checks never makes the cut.
The shaping process
The slim profile is traced from templates, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork that eases every edge a hand will find.
The hand refinement
The top and its edges are sanded by hand through successive grits until they feel right against an open palm.
The final inspection
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker sights down the long top for flat against the window light, checks stance, and signs the console out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

- Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.
Honest returns
30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.
Questions customers usually ask
What are the console tables made from?
Each console is cut from solid wood — often a single continuous slab for the top — with no veneer and no hollow core anywhere. Knots and natural edges stay part of the piece, and the top can be sanded and re-oiled for decades.
Do you build to fit narrow hallways?
Consoles are made to order, so length and depth adjust to your hallway or entry. A narrow ten-inch depth for tight halls is one of our most common builds.
Will I need to assemble it?
Most consoles arrive assembled. Designs with sculptural bases ship in two parts that join with pre-fitted bolts — a ten-minute job for one person with the included key.
What care does a console need?
Dust with a soft cloth and wipe water from vases and umbrellas when you see it. An annual oiling — twenty minutes, no professional — keeps the top ready for the keys, mail, and hands it greets daily.
How is a console packed?
Every console is made to order and packed in a fitted crate or double-walled carton with rigid corner guards. Tracking is emailed the day it ships; note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing and we make it right.
Can two consoles be ordered as a matched pair?
Yes. Pairs are cut from the same boards so grain and tone read as a family — a common request for flanking a fireplace or running matching tables down a long hall. Mention the pairing when you order.
