Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly
Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Shipping & returns
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
A basin carved the way water moves.
Each sink is carved from a single block of solid teak — no staves, no seams to open — chosen at the stacks for density and clear grain, then kiln-dried twenty days before the carving starts. The carver hollows the bowl, fairs the rim to your chosen edge profile, and seals it inside and out. This is the one teak piece we seal instead of oil, because a basin earns it.
The first question is always whether wood can live under a faucet — teak answered it on ship decks a century before it reached bathrooms. The sealer is water-resistant and non-toxic, so the toddler brushing teeth twice a day was part of the plan, and every bowl is filled and water-tested before it ships. Warm at six a.m., when porcelain is a cold shock.

Tight, straight grain curves through the carved bowl and tightens at the rim — figure that runs through the block, not printed on it, so it reads true from every angle.
The finish nature applied
Teak carries its own oils and silica, the reason it has decked ships for centuries. Under the sealed surface, that oil-rich wood is built for a life beside running water — dense, stable, unbothered by steam.
Density you can feel
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, dried twenty days in a controlled kiln before carving, the block holds its shape through hot water in July humidity and forced-air winters alike.
Golden now, silver whenever
The sealed finish holds the bowl's golden tone for years, and renewing it is a rag-and-an-hour job, not a refinisher's visit. Skip it too long and the bowl warns you first with a thirsty, matte look.
From plank to piece.
The wood selection
Blocks are chosen one at a time for density and clear, even grain, then checked end to end for hidden checks. Flawed stock never becomes a basin.
The shaping process
The bowl is hollowed and the rim cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the hand-fairing that gives each curve its profile.
The hand refinement
Inside and out, the bowl passes through five grades of sandpaper by hand until the rim feels right against an open palm.
The final inspection
The waterproof sealer goes on in thin coats, cured between each. The maker fills the bowl, lets it stand, and checks the drain seat before it ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

Can a wooden sink actually hold water?
Yes. Each vessel sink is carved from a single piece of dense teak — no seams to open — and sealed inside and out with a waterproof, non-toxic finish. Every bowl is filled and water-tested at the workshop before it ships.
What sizes work with my counter?
Diameters and depths are made to order within plumbing-standard limits. Tell us your counter depth and faucet reach, and we will confirm a size that splashes less and drains well.
What does installation require?
Sinks arrive pre-drilled for a standard 1.75-inch drain and sit on any flat counter. Share your faucet and hole measurements when ordering and we drill those for you as well — a plumber completes the fitting.
How do I keep the seal healthy?
Rinse and towel the basin after heavy use and skip abrasive cleaners — they wear the coating, not the wood. Reapply the recommended sealer yearly for most bathrooms; it is an hour with a rag, and the bowl goes years between.
How is a sink packed?
Every sink is made to order and ships foam-cradled in a rigid double-walled box. Tracking arrives by email the day it leaves; photograph a damaged box before signing and we replace what the carrier broke.
