These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
This vanity begins as one teak trunk section, pulled from the stacks by selectors who have read end grain for thirty years. A trunk this size hides its flaws inside, so each one is checked ring by ring, then spends twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln — the moving finishes in the workshop, never against your bathroom wall.
Most bathroom furniture is coated particleboard betting against the room's own steam. A solid trunk has nothing to swell and nothing to peel — the same wood commercial steam rooms specify — and it holds room warmth on a January morning when the tile bites. Wipe the standing water, run the fan, and the tree that took decades to grow becomes the one thing here that outlasts the remodel.
January, six forty, the furnace still catching up. The tile bites through socks, but both palms land on wood holding room temperature. Water runs, the mirror fogs, and the first surface you touch all day is a tree.
Halfway through a dinner party someone excuses themselves and comes back mid-sentence: is that an actual trunk in there. You get to say yes — hollowed, kiln-dried, sealed — and the story carries clear through dessert.
Kids down, tub filling, fan humming, mirror fogged to the ceiling. The teak sits in the steam the way it sat on ship decks — unbothered — holding the towel and the glass of wine at exactly reach height.

Tight, straight grain climbs the trunk's full height, and low morning light rakes it into gentle relief — in a fogged-up bathroom it reads calmer than any tile pattern in the house.
Teak carries its own oils and silica, which is why it belongs an arm's length from running water. We hand-rub more into the counter and trunk; up close the wood smells faintly sweet and leathery, never of varnish.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with shrinkage about half that of oak, the trunk holds still from shower steam to furnace-dry January. Plan on two people to set it — the weight is the point.
Indoors it will not silver — that takes outdoor sun and rain together. Daily steam leaves the sealed gold alone; if it ever dulls, a light sanding and fresh oil bring it back in an afternoon.
Trunk sections are chosen one at a time for sound rings, honest figure, and the right diameter, then dried until the moisture meter says done. Cracked or twisted stock never becomes a vanity.
The counter line and basin seat are chalked onto the end grain, then cut slightly proud — the chalk lines stay on until the hand-fairing takes them off.
The trunk face and countertop pass through five grades of sandpaper by hand until every edge feels finished to a wet hand, not just a dry one.
Sealer and oil go on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level with a straightedge, test-fits the basin cutout, and signs off before crating.
