Natural grain. Finished by hand.

The form of this record player stand is shaped by natural grain, then its visible wood surfaces are refined and finished by hand.

Only the wooden record player stand is sold.

Not included: turntables, speakers, records, audio components, cables, and other electronics; loose mounting or installation hardware; other non-wood accessories; decorative objects and styling props.

Natural wood, one piece at a time

Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.

General care

These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Dimensions & assembly

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.

Shipping & returns

Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.

Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

Solid teak · Record player stand

Where the turntable earns its place

The piece

Plate I
Plate II

A stand built to the measure of a record collection.

Our designers worked from the LP outward: a dead-flat top for the turntable, storage cut to a record's true height, a clean cube profile that stays out of the music's way. The artisan selects each teak board, joins it wood to wood, and hand-sands every face before oiling.

A cheap MDF stand telegraphs every footstep into the needle and bows under a hundred LPs by its second year. Solid teak does neither: kiln-dried for twenty days before it is cut, the mass damps the skip when someone crosses the room, and the shelf holds its line under the full weight of the collection. Kneel to flip through the records and the whole thing stays dead still.

  • Flat, stable top keeps the turntable level
  • Shelf sized to full 13-inch LP clearance
  • Compact 26-inch width fits beside the sofa
  • Holds the amp with room for cables behind
  • Solid teak damps footstep vibration

It fits real homes.

The whole-album afternoon

The whole-album afternoon

Afternoon light, a sleeve propped against the wall, the needle dropping on side two. The teak top keeps the platter dead level through the whole record.

Friday warm-up

Friday warm-up

Work ends, the amp clicks on, and the first record of the weekend gets pulled from the shelf below. The ritual takes thirty seconds and resets the week.

The crate-dig haul

The crate-dig haul

Three new finds from the record fair slide into the row, and the alphabet shifts to make room. The shelf was sized for exactly this kind of growth.

Made to order

Every piece is made to order, and dimensions vary from one to the next. Need a different size for your space? Tell us your measurements and we'll build it to fit.

Teak, up close.

Grain that reads quiet

Tight, even grain runs the top and down the cube's sides — the calm figure Danish credenzas traded on for sixty years. Under a 2700K lamp on a Friday night, the low sheen catches the same way those vintage pieces still do.

Grain that reads quiet

The finish nature applied

Open the crate and the corner smells faintly sweet and leathery — teak's own oils, not solvent. We hand-rub more into the top and shelf faces, a warm satin under lamplight that never feels like the plastic wrap on a flat-pack unit.

The finish nature applied

Density you can feel

At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, teak moves about half as much as oak. The top stays dead level for the platter and the mass soaks up footstep vibration — just keep it a couple of feet off a forced-air vent through winter.

Density you can feel

Golden now, silver whenever

Indoors the stand never silvers — it deepens toward caramel where lamplight and window sun reach it. A sleeve dragged across the top leaves a mark that fine paper and a wipe of oil erase in ten minutes.

Golden now, silver whenever

From plank to piece.

The wood selection

The wood selection

Boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone across the cube. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.

The shaping process

The shaping process

The cube is traced from templates and cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the handwork on every edge and corner.

The hand refinement

The hand refinement

Top and shelf faces are sanded through successive grits until edges feel right against an open palm, not merely look right.

The final inspection

The final inspection

Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, record clearance, and finish before the stand ships.

One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.

The Timber Vintique workshop

No two boards alike

The grain that arrives is yours alone.

  1. Every board is cut from a different tree — the photos here are a reference, not a promise.
  2. Your piece is photographed in the workshop before it ships, so you see your exact grain.
  3. Small knots and mineral streaks come with real wood. We leave them in.

Delivery, done properly.

White-glove option

Choose white-glove and the crew brings the piece inside, places it in the room, and removes every bit of packaging.

Crated for freight

Each piece travels in its own wooden crate with corner protection, built to cross the country without a scuff.

Scheduled window

You get a delivery appointment and tracking — not a truck that shows up unannounced.

Honest returns

30 days from payment. If it isn't right — unused, in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup. Made-to-order terms are stated up front.

Questions customers usually ask

Is it built for a turntable specifically?
Each stand is solid hardwood with a dead-flat, vibration-damping top for the turntable and storage sized to LPs — a full 13-inch clearance, verified before any piece leaves the workshop.
Can it grow with my record collection?
Yes. Stands are built to order, so width grows with your collection — from a 24-inch single-shelf build to a 60-inch run that holds several hundred records plus the amp.
Will the shelves sag under vinyl?
Stands arrive assembled apart from bolt-on legs on some designs. Record weight is the real test: shelves are sized so a full row of vinyl cannot bow them.
How should I care for it?
Dust with a dry cloth, keep the turntable level, and re-oil the top yearly. Route cables through the back openings so nothing saws against a finished edge.
How does a stand arrive?
Each stand is made to order, corner-blocked, and shipped boxed or freight-crated by size. Tracking is included, and larger builds get a scheduled delivery call first.
What are this stand's dimensions, and how many records fit?
The standard cube is 26 inches wide, 22 inches high, and 14 inches deep. The shelf holds roughly 80 to 100 LPs in a single row, with the top clear for a standard turntable.
