Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Fifty inches wide, thirty-nine tall, cut from solid teak and finished with hand-rubbed natural oil — no veneer over a hollow cabinet that hums under a spinning platter. The designer sized the top for a turntable and amp with room to spare; the artisan selects each board for grain, shapes the piece by hand, and sands until the surface asks to be touched.
It anchors the listening corner of the living room the way a fireplace anchors a wall. Danish teak credenzas from the sixties still trade hard on the US vintage market — proof this wood outlives the turntables set on it. Friends flip through the collection, someone asks about the wood under the platter, and the answer — one maker, one set of boards — beats any brand name.
Rain on the windows, coffee refilled, the sleeve propped against the teak while side two plays out. Nobody checks a phone until the needle lifts — the low sheen of oiled grain catching the lamp is half the reason this hour became a habit.
Every gathering ends up here: friends thumbing the spines, pulling out an album, holding it up as a question. The stand hosts more conversation than the sofa across the room, and the solid top takes a set-down drink without a flinch.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the fifty-inch length of the top — the calm figure that lets the turntable and album art carry the color, warm and smooth under a sleeve sliding across it.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and shelf faces, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin — no stain unless requested, no lacquer film to craze beside a warm amp.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the mass damps vibration and keeps the platter dead-level — twenty days in a controlled kiln means the wood settled before the top was ever glued up.
In a bright listening room, teak drifts toward silver-grey over the years — a surface change only. A light sanding and fresh oil restore the gold whenever you want the warm tone back.
Boards are matched by tone and grain across the top and shelves. Stock with twist, checks, or dull figure never makes the cut.
The clean cube profile is cut slightly proud of the line, record clearances laid out, material left for the final handwork.
Top, shelves, and edges are sanded through successive grits until every surface a record sleeve slides across feels right to an open palm.
Natural oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level and finish — a turntable demands both — before it ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
