Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
The silhouette stays low and clean so the doors can carry everything: wave motifs carved by hand into solid teak, following the grain rather than fighting it. Boards are grain-matched across the front before the first cut, then dried twenty days in the kiln so the crests keep their line when the room's air swings. The oil finish renews in ten minutes with a cloth.
Most media walls end up a black plastic shelf sagging under a receiver by year three, cords hanging like an apology. Here the cables leave through cut rear openings, vented compartments keep the console cool, and the doors take a knee, a dog's tail, a dropped remote without complaint — solid teak spot-sands and re-oils at home, so marks become the record of a good run, not damage.
Super Bowl Sunday, seven-layer dip on the coffee table, drinks sweating along the stand through the two-minute warning. A knee catches a carved door in the fourth-quarter celebration, and Monday morning, wiped down with the crumbs, the wood shows nothing.
Friday movie night. The router, the power strip, and every HDMI live behind the teak; the remote sits behind the left wave door where it always is. Warm wood fills the wall where a black tangle of electronics used to glare, and the room reads calm before the lights go down.
In-laws due at six. Controllers, headphones, and the charger tangle sweep behind the carved doors in two minutes flat. The living room looks composed on no notice because the stand keeps its secrets — and its even door gaps — year round.

Tight, straight grain runs the length of the top and sides — a calm field that lets the carved waves stand forward. When a table lamp rakes across the doors on a winter evening, the crests throw slow-moving shadows across an even surface.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the carved fronts and top, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin. Run a fingertip along a crest and it reads like beach glass — smooth past the point of catching a fingernail.
Twenty days in a temperature-controlled kiln before the first cut means the movement is over before the piece exists. When forced-air heat dries the room near fifteen percent humidity each winter, the case stays square and the doors keep their even reveal.
Indoors the gold simply deepens with time — silvering needs outdoor sun and rain. If a west-facing window pales one end over the years, a light sanding and fresh oil even the whole run out again in an afternoon.
Boards are pulled one at a time and grain-matched across both door faces before anything is cut, so the wave pattern flows unbroken from door to door. Twisted or dull stock never makes it to the bench.
The wave motif is traced across the doors, then cut slightly proud of the line — leaving material for the gouge work that hollows and rounds each crest by hand.
Every carved ridge is sanded through five successive grits until the waves roll smooth under an open palm, edge to edge.
Oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks door swing, shelf level, and every cable opening against the drawing before sign-out.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
