Wood grain, knots, edge contours, and color naturally vary from piece to piece. Product images show the expected character rather than an identical grain pattern.
These products are not waterproof. Their durable wood-and-finish construction is designed to handle ordinary accidental spills when liquid is wiped up promptly. Avoid standing water, soaking, submersion, and harsh cleaners.

Exact dimensions for each size are listed on the option you select above. Most pieces arrive fully assembled; wall-mounted designs include hardware and a template. Measure doorways and stair turns before ordering — most pieces pass a standard 32-inch doorway.
Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth and oil the grain once or twice a year to keep the surface nourished.
Your piece ships free in a protective wooden crate. Freight delivery comes with a scheduled window and tracking; white-glove service — carried inside, placed, packaging removed — is available at checkout.
Returns: 30 days from payment. Pieces need to be unused and in original condition — we arrange the freight pickup and walk you through repacking. Damaged or defective on arrival? We repair, replace or refund at no cost. Made-to-order pieces can be changed or cancelled while the build has not started.

The piece
Our designers sized this cube around two hard numbers: a dead-flat top for the turntable and clearance below for twelve-inch sleeves. Artisans pick each teak board for calm, matching grain, run it through a twenty-day kiln so the case stays square, then join the corners by hand and rub oil into every face.
Most media furniture is particleboard that bows under a loaded shelf and cannot be tightened back true. This case is solid teak, corner-joined, sized so a full row of records will not sag it in year ten any more than year one. The collection finally has an address — and the address outlasts the turntable standing on top of it.
Sunday afternoon, rain on the windows. The record flips, the coffee refills, and nobody reaches for a phone until the run-out groove crackles. The stand holds the whole ritual at arm's reach, the top steady enough that the needle never skips.
A ten-year-old sorts the collection by letter, discovering along the way that her parents were once cool. It takes two evenings on the living-room floor. The shelf takes the weight of every stack she pulls without a word.
Dinner winds down and someone drifts to the stand, pulls a sleeve, and holds it up with raised eyebrows. House rule: whoever picks it, plays it. The lamplight catches the oiled grain and the night gets longer.

Tight, straight, even grain runs the length of the top and case sides — the calm, consistent figure that made teak the wood collectors ask for by name, warm under a reading lamp.
Teak carries its own natural oils. We hand-rub more into the top and shelf faces, deepening the golden tone to a warm satin that never feels like plastic under your palm.
At roughly 700 kilograms per cubic meter, with some of the lowest shrinkage of any hardwood, the top stays dead flat under a leveled turntable through forced-air winter and humid summer alike.
Left in strong sun, teak weathers toward silver-grey — a surface change only, no deeper. A light sanding and fresh oil bring the case back to gold anytime you decide.
Boards are pulled one at a time and matched by tone across top, sides, and shelf, each already through its twenty-day kiln cycle. Twisted or dull stock never becomes a stand.
The cube is cut from templates slightly proud of the line, leaving material for the handwork that trues the case square and flat.
Faces and edges are sanded by hand through successive grits until corners feel soft against an open palm, not merely look clean.
Natural oil goes on in thin coats, buffed between each. The maker checks level, shelf fit, and finish before the stand ships.
One maker follows each piece from rough plank to the final coat of oil, and signs off before it is crated.
